i have not seen anybody in these thread bragging so much about what theyve got. well.. good for you you have 14 years of martial arts experience. well i dont have any doubt in your capacity.. you sure are capable just like anybody here in these thread. but if u would like to know well let me tell mine ( although i really hate doin this) Shotokan Karate 2nd Dan, Taekwondo 1st Gup, Sikaran- Arnis 1st Dan, Pencak Silat ( Mindanaw Silat Asli ) Instructor Level, Vovinam Vietvodao Black Belt. I also did Yaw Yan before for bout 8 months. Started into martial arts 1990. Started Teaching 1997. That is 19 Years martial Arts experience. But i am not proud of that because a lot of of practitioners here are certainly better than I. Mr. jensen, Martial Arts is not about who is the best in maiming who. Its also about attitude. You have not heared anybody here giving comments on your ninjutsu and its honorable beginnings. but here you are barging on our country.. telling us that a proven FMA is not a martial art.. on an FMA thread. If that is not an insult, i dont know what is. We are hospitable.. we are known for that.. but we have limits. we dont turn the other cheek if provoked.

You background dont impress me much, its much of the same in my mind, but telling me i am bragging....Hmmm, i think you got some issues to work with.....
I am not doing anything different from you, when you tell people in here about you style (but maybe you are bragging to?).
Doing all this because i say Yaw-Yan is a Martial Sports as many others do online, kind just makes it your little war against the world....I dont think you can speak for all of your country either, since i know many Filippinos who would disagree with you....But you had to make it into a issue that i am foreigner, you really seem smart....

Mr. Jensen, I am not trying to impress you or who ever else with what I did. and i am not trying to raise a battle against the whole world. my MA experience, is just that, experience. But what it brought me has been immense. It has taught me RESPECT and appreciation to all the other arts, including yours. It has also taught me not to cross the limits of descency. Who has issues here? I think its you are Mr. jensen, crossing different threads telling people how deadly you are and how impressive you are and how other arts are this and that... think bout that. Mr. jensen, nobody monopolizes knowledge. An innocent inquiry might have been answered by the APPROPRIATE PERSON, and that would mean a YAW YAN practitioner. I am not even a YAW YAN practitioner now and i wont even answer that query as it would be unethical. You seem to think that you monopolize knowledge.. now thats a REALLY BIG ISSUE... This thread have been healthy free from unhealthy disputes before you came.. after wrecking havoc on other threads over the might of your ninjutsu.. Mr. Jensen, this says much about you...

PS.. how many have been impressed by you?

First of i am still a FMA instructor (the Dacayana System) and teach parts from Ninjutsu, not a Bujinkan instructor....
I still dont understand how you can claim to have "respect", towards others when you write like you do above....
I agree that a Yaw-Yan practitioner would know more about Yaw-Yan, then me, i never said anything else.....By the way can you tell me, why you feel provoked by me calling Yaw-Yan a Martial Sport (when so many other people, even filippinos, do it to)?

I also think its a "joke"? That you write i monopolize knowledge, no where did i do that, but yes i am open and honest about what i know, would you rather i lied like some people do?
I do a lot to keep my knowledge up-to-date training within both Villasin Balintawak and The Dacayana Eskrima System...
I always see my self as a student first and a teacher next....

But why dont you just come and train with me, let me see what you know and you can see what i know....?

Mr. Jensen, pls read the previous posts and examine why... If somebody calls Ninjutsu a cult I would react the same.. if somebody calls Migsunedo ineffective... ill do the same.. if somebody calls Balintawak an outdated system...ill feel the same... Get my point? the issue here is about decency. U have all the rights to talk bout Ninjutsu, Migsunedo and Balintawak and I will listen to you because I know you are more knowledgeable on those things than I am. But in the same manner, learn to respect others. When somebody asked about Yaw Yan, u could have let the Yaw Yan replied to that querrie.

Its funny coz just this PM , i happen to met people who have practiced under you. And they told me a lot bout you. There were good things and not so good things. They told me why they wont get back to training with you for reasons that I would not divulge due to decency. There is one that i encouraged to continue training with you..i even know that youve got 4 students right now in ayala. I also experienced that b4 when sometimes only 2 of us were training. but u know what, if you would just stay humble.. as what most of the FMA instructors of these theads are.. who knows youre training place will be filled to the brim.

it is good to have the technical know how.. but it is your behavior that will hold you up with esteem and respect from others...

    over and out..

i think yaw yan is a martial art. although it is closely related to muay thai kick boxing
Yaw-yan masters created their own style and adopted their own rules
they also made tournament, witch makes it a martial sport
just like brazilian jiu-jitsu, that has its roots from japanese ju jutsu

Its not about respect, its about getting the terms right so other people know what you talk about...
I mean you say stuff like Balintawak is out-dated, i never called Yaw-Yan out-dated or any of the stuff you make up in your post....he he....You twist and turn my words, i said it was a Martial Sports which is a term, that you take that as a insult says more about you then me....

I agreed with you that a yaw-yan practitioner would be able to give a better answer then me, but from those i know who trained it (Yaw-Yan) and from what they write online, it is a Martial Sports, nobody has so far, not even you showed a link or something that shows a Combat side to Yaw-Yan, why dont you do that then?

PS. Or why dont any of the Yaw-Yan guys answer?
PSS. What has my training to do with any of this? You know for a guy who does not want to meet or train with me, you seem to know a lot about me....
