@MeMing: my point exactly. it's been 7 freakin' years and what do we have to show for it? What's the difference between us and them? Why is the competitive gaming scene popular there but not here? We play the same games they play so what's the problem? I can say that something isn't being done right or something isn't being done. We do have a lot of competitive gamers in the country but what's there to compete for? There's no output for them. How many tournaments are there all in all in the country or just in Cebu? If you know some, let me know. Also, We Filipinos have the balls to compete... We just don't have deep pockets.

but hey, screw the WCG. enough about them. All i can say is that their doing a lousy job promoting the event. This is Cebu dammit. we're smack right in the middle of the country. it's a strategic location. Why not start our own? Focus on what we have first before going out and challenging the world, know what i mean? You just wait bro, it's all about to change.

with the rest of your statements, i completely agree. Specially regarding Cebu being in a very strategic position. But reality check, it all comes down to money. If I had a part of Lucio Tan's net worth, you sure damn join all the tournaments I host. lolz...
