I don't think religion is necessary to prove our spirituality. It may be able to affect the way we think, how we do things, and how we live our lives, but it does not necessarily mean that it is spiritual. People can be religious and devoted in doing all the things their religion requires, but his spirit and heart may not really be in it. He could be doing it just for the sake of finishing the demands of his religion.
Rather, I'd say that faith has more weight in affecting our spirituality. It is because of faith that we are able to believe that there is only One God. It is through faith by which we are saved. It is through faith that we are able to look up and ask for help in times of need, or give thanks after seeing the rainbow after the storm.
It is because of faith that people gather together as a Church. It is because of religion that people go to Church.
Just a thought. Makes sense?
"no religion is higher than truth."
@topic..
hmm.. i think its like saying.. we dont need schools to learn.. yes we can learn, but is it better to cross out the idea of enrolling to one? we can learn through life experiences but i dont think its better..
