pwd ma disable actually, but I didn't bother because I customized my own ROM

as for method of update in old xp updater:
1. run the program, the start button is disabled.
2. connect your device to usb then press reset
3. the start button should be enabled, then you click on start to begin the process of updating.
4. it should go all the way to updating the four parts: bootloader, pda, customer.csc, and phone

I remembered, I am using a very old xp updater. If you guys happen to download the DXIA2.rar, you can't use it if you come from one of the newer ROMs like DXHK3. I will reupload another one with a newer updater, so the newer firmware can accept it. Sorry for the inconvenience. Although, it will not brick your omnia, but it can't flash through...

i can' get through "downloading EBOOT".. everytime it reaches 43% it says "checksum failed"

EDIT: the DXIA2 I downloaded before is working with my DXHK3, but as i said it stops at 43% and indicates checksum failed.. the DXIA2 with new XP updater does not work at all.. i press start and then instant checksum failed..

boy. somehow, it's really strange. the dual bootloader must have an effect on the device, but I reflashed my device with the attached file after you reported it in the winmo thread. It worked on my omnia. Anyone else tried this?

i was eying on a 8gb omnia. im a newbie and i would just like to ask if its user friendly? do this phone need lots of techie experience? or what

^ It takes time in getting used to it, especially if it's the first time you're using Windows Mobile. What's good about this phone is you can customize it according to your preferences. iPhone is much more user-friendly, but if you like the thrill of modifying it to suit your needs, get the Omnia.

Mga boss, ive been reading this forum for quite sometimes nah, and i must say daghan jud kog na learn. pero daghan sad jud kog gikalibugan... my Omnia was purchased just this March 2009 and it has a version of DXHK3, base on my research, dili ni ang latest ROM, ask ta ko ninyo ug naa bay shop diri nga mo upgrade ug ROM to the latest one? Asa and pila sad?

another thing, unsaon pag install ug software sa fon? like SPB or Touchflo? grabehh blanko jud ko ani nga fon, karon pako ka gamit ug WinMo nga fon jud!!! pwede ko patabang ninyo mga boss?

naa pajud!!! hehehe asa ta makapalit ug Invissible Shield Full body Protector (ZAGG) para sa omnia? kuywan ko ma garas gud, di man gud barato... hope to hear some HELP from wizards of this forum...
