Have you noticed bumabagal ng pacing ang etheria. Before sa encatadia, D ko nahan ma miss ang episode coz d ko nahan naa ma missed na scene.. Karon kay ok ra nako d makakita sa episode coz ma catch-up naman nako ang ugma and maka "g" nasad ko sa mahitabo sa ugma na episode.. before na confused ako sa story... coz past pala... tapos biglang magiging future... makalibog, puol nuon tan-awon.. if you haven't seen the first week episodes.. ang you will be able to watch the second week.. dali ra kaayo ma catch up.. not like encatadia that when you miss a one episode, parang na miss mo na ang whole story ng Encantadia..

i hope mag-improve na ang story starting this week since involved na ang 4 na sang'gre. sana naman more action scenes para masaya.Â*

No wonder ming low ang rating sa Etheria coz nag-drag yung story kaya viewers can afford to miss one or two episodes kasi madali mag-catch up although i also believe na pag confused ang audience, nawawala din ang interest nila. iba kasi yung confused sa mystified eh. the latter is better. and i think what pulled down the ratings is the style of storytelling ni Ybarro. he reminds me of a wansapanatym with the lola in a rocking chair telling stories to kids. sana ginawa nilang creative ang pagkwento. iba-ibang setting or situation depending on the content of the parchment. yung hindi lahat galing sa bibig ni Ybarro. for example, merong madidiskubri si Cassandra on her own. at magugulat na lang si Ybrarro.

natatawa nga ako sa role ni Ybarro. all he does is stay home all day and read the parchment. yung asawa nya laging out there in the field with her sisters. parang reversed roles no? then she comes home and ask Ybarro for....that thing... well, u know... what men ask their wives when they come home from a faraway land. hehehe... Ybarro wont give in and is so absorbed by the parchment thing. si Alena naman binabalewala ang panaginip ni Cassandra samantalang sa panaginip din nangyari si Kahlil.Â* eh kung kausapin kaya ni Alena si Ybarro sa dream? baka may mangyari pa sa kanila.

pero mas maganda ang technical aspect ng Etheria kaysa Encantadia in terms of set design, computer graphic effects and fight scenes. mas grandioso ito at parang filmy ang effect. still, the development of the story should work side by side with the production aspect. otherwise, it will just be a show of costumes and visual effects.

Am not that excited to watch Etheria...it's maybe becoz i don't like Nadine being the young Minea...i don't like her...magsurok jud akong dugo kung makakita ko sa iyang dagway...i don't know...well, sa jewel in the palace ko nabuang run...more informative than any other shows i've watched...

yeah JEWEL is also nice...maybe magbuhat sad ka ug JEEWL empress so makabasa sad mi sa recaps...

Etheria was a rush decision....

they sense na mag e-end na pala ang encantadia, pero mataas pa rin ang ratings, they had to decide fast na mupuli sa show pero still has that rating stronghold...

so it was a quick panmic decision to have produced etheria

Medyo na dragging tong si Mira na assistant ni Anthony (wa jud ko kasabot unsay connection ato ngano g assistant cya ni Anthony.. Labaw na hilas na kaayo si Mira mangasaba sa mga executives and officemates.. to think Assistant lang cya.. Makalagot jud to na part sa story..)

Here's WHAT I THINK kung bakit MABABA ang rating ng Etheria.

1. Magkasunod sila ng Sugo. Parehong genre(?)
2. Pang mature ang audience. Ang viewers nya ay parang katulad na lang din ng sa Sugo.
3. Kids don't follow the story. --> unlike sa Darna, but let's not get into that. haha.
4. Masyadong complex ang story para sa ordinaryong taong gusto lang manuod ng tv
5. Walang comedy. Masyadong seryoso.
6. Wala pa ang walang kamatayang tried and tested loveteaman.
7. May meron mali sa animation or sa color. Dark tapos sobrang shining. Ah ewan. May kakaibang contrast talaga. (especially when they summon Emre.. Hindi ko makita si Raymond Bagatsing a.k.a Emre)
8. Walang fighting scences ang mga Sanggre (except friday night but still pangit pa rin)
9. Hindi sya napromote ng mabuti.
10. May problema sa mga characters. (Si Herras, problema din dati pero may loyal supporters yung mokong na yun kaya dala pa rin. Si Animus tsaka si Jopay,wala masyado.. Maaga kasi pinatay si Animus)

Here's what I think para bumalik ang ratings ng Etheria.
(Hindi ibig sabihin nito, bababaan ang quality ng Etheria ha. Just a thought lang. )

1. Bilisan na ang pagdating ng mga sanggre. Ipakita na ang attitude ni Pirena at ni Danaya
2. Lagyan na nang comedy (marunong naman si danaya ng english na turo ni Lira, gamitin yun. hahaha)
3. Ayusin yung contrast ng mga effects.
4. Lay out the complexity simply
5. Pabilisin na ang story.
6. Promote, promote, promote. Huwag nang isipin ang Mulawin.
7. Change the sched. Di dapat sila magkasunod ng Sugo.
8. Yang loveteaman na yan, simulan na.
9. Workshops sa mga actors na kailangan ng workshops
10. Lagay pa ng maraming magical effects.

Haring Meno and co. are outside Hera Andal. Asval told Meno that the coast is clear. Suddenly, etherian soldiers are slowly showing up. Then after a while, Avria and co. showed up. Avria asked Haring Meno why he came to Hera Andal without any army. Meno said that they could defeat them without any army. Avria told Haring Meno that it’s either he’s courageous enough to face the etherians like that or he’s just crazy. Barkus told Avria that Haring Meno might be crazy. Haring Meno said that he is courageous enough because he already holds the power that can defeat the etherians. Barkus said that they should finish this. Haring Meno told Avria that they should stop this because many innocent beings are killed because of this. Avria told Meno that they were the ones who rebelled against Etheria so they pay for what they did.

Cassandra is still inside the golden hourglass. She is still screaming for her Ylas. The 4 sanggres cannot do anything to save Cassandra. They had nothing to do but just stare at Cassie worriedly.

Asval told Haring Meno that they have to finish this and stop Avria’s wrath. Barkus said that they might as well finish them. And so, the etherian troops tried to attack Haring Meno and co. but Haring Meno, Cassiopeia, Asval, Bartimus and Aegen summoned the mother crystal. They used it to defeat the remaining etherian soldiers. Avria was shocked when she saw the mother crystal. Cilatus wondered where the brilyante came from. Avria told Meno that the etherians are still stronger than them. Barkus, Avria and Cilatus summoned their powers and tried to hit Haring Meno and co. but the power of the brilyante just defeated them. Haring Meno said that Etheria’s evilness should end today. He commands the brilyante to destroy Etheria. Then, the power of the brilyante hit Etheria and thus, all of the heras slowly toppled down. Haring Meno told Evades that they should get out of here. Meanwhile, Etheria is slowly toppling down, and everyone was panicking. But before Etheria fell down, Avria released a curse that one day, Etheria would soon rise again and destroy Encantadia, and the last of his husband and Minea’s blood will be the key to Etheria’s rise to power again. And so, Etheria fell down.

Cassandra is still shouting for her Ylas but the sand in the hourglass has buried Cassandra. Cassandra and the hourglass disappeared. Ybrahim was hysterical because Cassandra is lost. Marvus told them that what he is frightened about is already coming to fulfillment. Amihan asked what is it. Marvus told Ybrahim and the Sanggres that Etheria is coming back to life. Then, after a while, an explosion came out from the gate of Etheria and Marvus was struck dead. Amihan asked Cassiopeia if she knows this guy. Cassiopeia said that the guy is Marvus, one of the guardians of the gate to Etheria.

Cassiopeia said that she is sad for the innocent ones who were killed.

Bartimus said that there is no need to be sad because even though many lives were lost, at least there will be peace in Encantadia again. Asval shouted, “ Hasne Live Encantadia!� (not sure kung Encantadia or Sapiro)

Meanwhile, Evades found a box and in it is a golden hourglass. Bartimus wondered what kind of hourglass is that.

Ybrahim is standing in front of the gate. Muros approached Ybrahim. Ybrahim asked Muros the whereabouts of Reyna Danaya. Muros told Ybrahim that she has already returned to Lireo.

Amihan said that she is afraid of the possible things that could happen to Cassandra. Pirena said that she has no idea where Cassandra could be. Cassiopeia said that they could ask help from her teacher, Evades.

Evades told Bartimus that this may be the thing wherein the “key� will be nestled. Cassiopeia said that it should not happen.

There should be three creatures that will represent the diwatas, Sapiryans and Hathors that will be the guardians of the gate to Etheria. Evades appointed Marvus to be the guardian that will represent the diwatas. Bartimus said that he would send Adum, one of the fiercest soldiers in Hathoria. Asval said that he would send Seno, also one of the finest warriors in Sapiro.


Alena said that Evades is the guardian of the tree of life and he was also the one who helped Lira bring Pirena back to life. Ybrahim told Cass to bring them to Evades. Amihan said that they should fetch Danaya first before they go to Evades.

Raquim and Hagorn arrived in Hera Andal. Raquim wondered what happened in Etheria. Hagorn scouted the perimeter and he confirmed that Etheria has fallen down.

The 4 sanggres together with Ybrahim and Cassiopeia teleported in the place where Evades resides. Cassiopeia called for her teacher. After a while, Evades appeared to them. He was very happy to see Cassiopeia. Cassiopeia introduced the 4 sanggres to Evades. Evades told the sanggres that it would be an honor for him to follow their every command for they are the guardians of the 4 crystals. Ybrahim told Evades that a strange creature kidnapped Cassandra and put her inside an hourglass and then, they disappeared.

Amihan said that he is from the past and he wants to bring etheria back and Cassandra is the key to reviving it.

Minea arrived in etheria. She saw that the place was destroyed. She scouted the place when Gurna suddenly popped out. Gurna is overjoyed to see Min-ea. Min-ea asked where her mother is.

Evades told the sanggres that in the time of Etheria, not only lives were lost but also friendships. There is still havoc in Encantadia even after Etheria perished. And now, there is a greater threat. If Etheria comes back to life, it will surely destroy the 4 kingdoms of Encantadia and rule again once more. Amihan asked Evades if there is anything they can do.

Gurna told Min-ea that her mother is gone, together with Etheria. Min-ea was shocked when she heard the news. She broke down and cried for her mother’s loss. Gurna rushed to Min-ea’s side to comfort her.

Hagorn arrived in Sapiro. He asked Raquim why he called for him. Raquim told Hagorn to give him a chance to explain. Hagorn allowed him to speak up. Raquim told Hagorn that he was carried away by his feelings. Hagorn asked Raquim if that was the reason why he ran away with Min-ea in the middle of the battle. He also asked Raquim that did he think he did not see him run away with his betrothed. He asked Raquim if he took Min-ea because he thinks that he has more appeal than him. Raquim tried to explain but Hagorn cut him off. He told Raquim that it pains him to lose a beloved encantada but it pains him more to lose a traitor best friend like him. Hagorn left Raquim angrily.

Min-ea asked for a sword. Gurna gave her a sword. Min-ea blessed the sword that it will be the sandata that will kill all the people that killed her mother. She swears that she will take revenge on what happened to Etheria and her mother.

Raquim is outside Sapiro. Some encantadas and encantados bow before him. Cassiopeia approaches Raquim. She asks Raquim why his face is like that when he should be rejoicing because Sapiro already gained its victory. Raquim told Cassiopeia that he is sad for the innocent ones who were killed in the battle. Cassiopeia asked Raquim if that is really what he’s thinking about. Raquim did not answer. Cassiopeia told Raquim he might as well tell his dilemma to her or else she will be the one who will tell it. Raquim told Cass that he and Hagorn had a fight. Cass told Raquim that he may not see it now but in the future, he will understand. Raquim wondered what Cassiopeia’s words meant. Cass told Raquim that he will not die in the hands if the enemy but he would die in the hands of a friend.

Evades told the sanggres that they need to go back to the past to correct the mistakes of the past and save the future.

- Ybrahim is reading a scroll in his room when Cassiopeia and Wahid came in. Wahid reported to Ybrahim the one of the towers of Sapiro is destroyed.

- Evades told them that before they go back to the past, there are still challenges that they need to face.

[size=14pt]they may not be able to focus yet on etheria kasi they are so busy promoting mulawin, then the finale of sugo is nearing. gma7 is too busy focusing on richard gutierrez' projects. by january or february 06 mag kakaroon ng richard gutierrez cup... its like this sports event kunwari pero pinopromote lang nila yung isa. yep, young mr gutierrez is damn overexposed!

i just hope that there will be no corny "mortal" scenes in etheria. =)size]
