Are you still using dot matrix printers?

Thinking of getting one for document printing.
Any suggestions on what brand/model. I hope it will be compatible with vista and has a USB connectivity.

IMO, mas economical in both cost and time ang toner based black printers.

for toner:
Hp LaserJet 1005 or 1006

if you dont need a carbon copy while printing, dot matrix printer is a waste of time

we are using epson lx300 dot matrix sa store coz we need to print a log with carbon copy. our OS is XP though.

Still using an OLD Epson LX-300 here. I think this thing is gonna outlast me.

Anyways its been a very economical printer for me although quite noisy though.
