grabeha sad sa UPLB to judge the character. di man tanan ma-summa cum laude ma-successful sa kinabuhi. life goes in circles. naa man gai bogo na madato, unsa nalang kaha nang bright nya mapobre ug mabuang.

I don't think anybody is judging characters here.

Bisan asa gikan nga eskuylahan siguro basta SUMMA CUM LAUDE maglibog ngano na ing-ato. Di man siguro ma kwestyonable ang MMK kung ang gipakita na rason kay logical. Galing lang, kung nakakita lang mo, maka-ana gyud siguro mo nga gi manipulate nila ang storya.

Murag ila ging gimanipulate to induce DRAMA. Murag ilang gi collage tanan mga sakit nga scenes para ig abot sa gipaabot nga scene, SUPERCLIMACTIC kunuhay kaayo. If ever ing-ato man gani gyud ang gisuwat sa letter sender pagkabasa palang unta sa screenwriter ni tingkag na dayon iyang dunggan nya nangita unta dayog facts to verify ang gisulti para safe sila. Plus naa dayoy mga scenes nga si Angel grabe kaayog paningkamot nga adtos mga poste poste mangitag job vacancy bahala nag way kaon kaon. Plus naa pa toy dramatic nga office scene nga nag lingkod siya tapos wa siya gipansin sa interviewer. Naglagot si Angel iyang gikuha iyang resume nya gi-ingnan niya ang interviewer nga bisag basahon lang unta niya iyang resume kay nigasto pa siyag pa xerox. dayon walk out siya para drama effect. char!

Niana gud ko nga kung mo-end up ni siyag dancer sa club murag OA ra gyud kaayo. Nya unsaon taman mao man gyud nahitabo. Klaro bitaw kaayo nga ang writer gitapulan. saonz.

Also, ang nagsuwat sa letter was the SISTER played by Dimples. In the episode, wala man si Dimples sa Manila sa dihang na GRO si Angel. Nya sa ilang conversation, gi imply ra pa gyud ni Angel nga sa bar siya nagtrabaho. So gi unsa pagkabalo ni Dimples ang extent sa iyang trabaho, we don't know but MMK showed it. Hmmm...

And lastly, if you're from UP you would know how hard it is to even get a passing grade, unsa na kahag SUMMA CUM LAUDE

ang episodes sa MMK based on true story man tingali, but what is depicted is already polished - kung baga sa picture, naphotoshop na.

and kaning episode ni angel, dili ra man ang pagka jobless ang reason nganu nahimu syang vagrant and prostitute. its also because of the weakness of her character - daghan man pwede mabuhat (magtanum diay sya kay agri man iyang field) nganu magprostitute man sya.

Agree ko ni uwagan.
dapat wa na sila nagmention what skul. dili man to issue ang pagka-alumna nia sa UP, ang relevance ra ana is that MMK is trying to tell the audience that: bisan gikan pa kag reputable school, naa gihapoy chance na majobless ka dre Pilipinas but it depends pud sa imuhang initiative and determination. Kung pareha ra ka sa character sa story na nagpalupig sa iyang weakness, then too bad for you, you might end up like her.

I think In fairness to UP, i guess its their right to react. Just to get a high rating, ila rana gibutang ug twist and turn pra molami xd ang timpla

i guess not everyone (even academic scholars evidently) knows about (or at least the concept of) artistic license. that's how it is with movies (be it in big screen or in television). i-twist man gani ang historical fact or even a scientific truth para mas naay drama kana pa ba kahang lifestory sa usa ka tao.

get a hold of urselves people.

UP has the right to react. but they should also keep in mind that this is a "drama show" and not a documentary. bisag based on true-story pa ang tagline sa MMK, still its a "drama show" tsk tsk tsk

it's the researchers total responsibility to gather all the facts...kagrabeh pod sah, mga beterana sa industriya naa pa jud mkalimtan...sayop jud ni nla ngano la cla nikonsulta sa kadagkoan sa UPLB. uban man gud strytellers dli katoohan...just making up stories para lng jud ma feature sa usa ka tv program...hahay

my opinion:

wala sa mmk or sa uplb ang deperenxa... naa sa nagtan-aw kung ingon ana ka mabaw.

if u are from u.p. u may think this is very illusional since, even ang cum laude would land in a very good job or something and naa pa gani chance na maabsorb mismo sa university (as professors ba ron). usa pa sad, naa man jd na OJT every course pud cguro where they get to show their skills before they graduate and pwede pud sila i-absorb sa company na gi OJT-han...

but then again, since i came from u.p. myself and is open to the view of a downfall, dli ra kana na factor ang giconsider for the failure of a dream. there is the family...

u.p.l.b. may or may not accept the facts stated in the movie due to embarrassment, and the pride of accepting a failure... it is a government institution therefore, it must produce good graduates, competitive and nurtured to lead the country well... unlike what is shown sa movie...

mmk was merely reading a letter sent by somebody... but like movies made from books, they must add spice or something to enhance the story. this is generally what i hate in movies: they tend to be unrealistic because of the adding- and subtracting- of facts regardless of the consequences and effects of the movie to the watchers.

but then again, for years, decades and centuries of the existence of movies and the like, how come u arent open to any probability of illusion in each story/movie you see? mura ra man kag "just now"...

it was made clearly to satisfy the watcher and at the same time provide a good show... but not really to express what reality really is... in the form of the usage of real statistics and data...

kung mu-isotorya ta ug downfall dili sad tingali mu-abot sa point na mag- stripper oi.

exag gyud ang istorya. sayop lang nila UP ilang gigamit daghan hinu-on nangawas na comment.

i saw dis episode, bati lang kaayo pagka dala sa character, she didnt act like she's a summa cumlaude. kataw-anan kayo.
