this is Caray-a...dialect of the province.

They say that Caray-a is the original hiligaynon---the native tongue of the Ilonggos. The one, now referred as Hiligaynon (spoken in the city and nearby towns as well as in Bacolod City) is bastardized Caray-a invented by Chinese elitist... actually i only heard this from someone. Mayad therefore is maayo.

Som esay that ilonggos's are "tikalon". It's is not a compliment so don't say it right on their faces.
It means they are hambog...

sabot are those curly black hairs in your pubic area...argh!
what they call bulbul here is what we call balahibo (hair in arms and legs) in cebu...weirddd...

in other words they have 'bulbul' all over their body

in the town i grew up in, the people speak ilonggo there.

ilonggo's migrated there during the 1910's or at least i think during those times.

there's a barrio which is called "new antique."

but the language is softer and it doesn't have an obvious tone and intonation (the boring version).
