If you really want to learn, just go to the surf spot even without a board and check if you can rent or borrow from any willing surfer. Learn to swim in open water. Check the waves, watch the surfers go. Buy them a beer and ask questions in person. You will not learn surfing in the forums. Good luck.
Unya kinahanglan na gali kag board. hehehe. Naa koy baligya nga 6'10 Egg-nosed with 9'0" padded surfbag. Kung ngilngig na ka naa koy baligya nga 6'8" with fitted Creatures of Leisure padded surf bag. hehehe. Reasonable pero dili barato.
