scrub your lips with toothbrush to erase dead skins from your lips. gotta moisturize it first using petroleum jelly or any available lip balm.

massage your lips every night with a mixture of 1/2tsp of glycerin, 1/2 tsp of castor oil and 1/2 tsp of lemon juice. leave it over night.

you can buy glycerin and castor oil at watson's.

I don't have dark lips. I got that home made tip n a certain website ( i forgot what it was). I use the trick to help my lips stay healthy and to prevent it from darkening. Also, I'm not fond of lip gloss. I use lipbalm with sunscreen lip protectant to keep it away from drying.
