We have a lot of CISS units. One brother unit is 2 years old. The three brothers are 1 year old.
We have a lot of Epson T10's. Although I don't own them for long as I buy on demand. For our business, the printing is seasonal and only extends to one week or two. I sell them because you need to let the printer run at least once a day so the heads won't get clogged. this is the secret. You also have to make sure that there is no air in the tubes so if you see that there is, you have to do head cleaning.

So far, i have had no problems with CISS products because we always use them. The only problem I have with epsons is related to their paper feeding. After a few prints, you always have to have the rollers adjusted.

If you want Epson printer servicing, you have to go to Alvin Aterado of Pro-tech; his number is in this thread. For HP, you go to Allan Fernan.

As I was reading this thread, it seems Inknovation extends their responsibility to the CISS kit only and they do not have training in repairing epson systems. Based on the quote below, the printer has not even been opened so there is really no clear conclusion as to what happened to the printer.

I don't know why the printer does not work anymore as it was running when it was tested. In my opinion, the printer should be checked by Cebu Pro-tech so it can be ascertained why it does not work anymore. In the thread, there have been a few comments nga basin dili na na mao ang printer, etc. and we cannot fault these people for the comments as naguba man gyud ang printer nga working when it was sent to Inknovation.

For peace of mind lang, let Cebu Pro-tech, look at the printer first. If naguba gyud due to natural causes then so be it, but if naguba sad sa Inknovation while it was being "repaired" then I think the seller should also answer to the buyer.

    Salamat

This process surely takes lots of time, electricity, and patience due microscopic holes, sensitive chipsets, and mechanical are being dealt. But in your case, it didn't help out. We don't need to open the chassis of our customer's printer due to, as stated, its not our main concern and due to its not our product, and the problem can be detected right away through the problem's characteristics and the experienced we have in repairing our CISS products and dealing with different printers. So I consulted InkNovation Inc. for my last resort, hoping for other remedy and telling them the details, characteristics, and status of the problem, and they found out that its the head already of the printer as they already experienced that many times to their clients as well. Specially Epson printer head(peizo electric head/ frequency bursting) is a cold process and the design is clog prone even if used with genuine inks like what experienced by a friend of mine, unlike the other brands in which their heads heat up to burst ink and different design engineering inside the head cavity. Although Epson has superior head(in terms of technology and printing quality) compared to other brands, they also have disadvantages. Your CISS also is severely affected by the problem in your printer's head that is why the “cyan” cartridge leaked out and imbalanced pressure, thus it didn't give off ink and stocked-up. It added up the longevity of the repair process I did due to its not easy and very time consuming. We also found out that the printer was very dirty underneath its cartridges tray. The pinch/rubber rollers, foams, and even the metallic base inside. Somewhat like spilled with ink and cluttered with dusts. Although we cleaned them but its late. This will lead also to damaged the printer's head as these will block the the microscopic nozzles inside.

mao sad jud akong gihunahuna bai lunch, why dili na mo-on if it was tested the night before... actually midnight nako giinform na d nah mo print ang other colors. mao ako dayon gikuha the day after...

kailangan napud ni og kwarta if ipatan-aw pa ko ni... la nasad ko budget kay for this kay nakapalit naman sad gud ko og printer... dako possibility nga dili nato maayo... if maayo man gani, makapalit nako og new printer...

tawaga lang alvin bai. i forgot if he charges for check up. . .
but i think this is the best way for both sides to settle the issue.
pwede na ninyo sabutan with the other party.

tunga lang mo sa check up charge. if proven nga naguba ang printer through natural causes then you can reimburse inknovation for the check up charge but if naguba nila ang imong printer then sabut lang sad mo nga sila mobayad sa pagpaayo sa printer.

I think this is fair enough. The point here is to ascertain ngano dili na moandar ang printer when it was working when it was sent to inknovation.
