MEGADOME PROJECT: Do you want it in Cebu or Mandaue?

A Megadome is really needed in Cebu or for the entire country for that matter since Cebu Coliseum is getting to be a small venue plus the parking is a problem being in the downtown area and the ameneties does not meet the requirements anymore.Â* While The Waterfront is a good alternative,Â* it has a totally different function to a megadome.

I prefer to have it in Cebu because the SRP is an aesthetically and logistically better and more accessible venue.Â* Plus, Tommy O. is a better implementor than Teddy O.Â* Cebu City can also maintain the facility better over Mandaue having more revenues.Â*
While the design looks quite good and promising outside, it would be best if they hire foreign consultants who are already experience in this kind of project to meet the requirements and provisions of a world-class facility so that money won't be wasted on mistakes and kickbacks.

Ok ra bisan asa. Kung sa NRA, ma limpyohan ng lugara ug ahat kay abog kaayo because wala may tagad. Pero kung sa SRP, ok ra ghapon kay nindot man sad didto nga lugar.

Basta dili lang maka cause og traffic... then i hope dili mag tinihik og parking... the parking area should be at least be 3 times bigger than the dome itself...

I think mandaue reclamation is a better location... near the airport and sea ports...unless the tunnel and access road is better going to SRP, then its good as well... :mrgreen:

Bitaw, strategically perfect location ang mandaue considering the airport and port, duol ra then for the parking lot dako2x sab and to prevent traffic...

I hope ma dayun ni. Have seen megadome at Leyte guyz? nice kayu then beside port area nice and fresh ang air then mayu sab pagka mentain...... i hope we can build our own, Cebu has its billion income a year so am sure we can afford to build new one.

its the strategic and convinience that matter most gyud ani... specially if theres a convention... visitors not need to drive long from the airport or ports and from hotels to get to the dome. mandaue if far better for this instance but what i see now is the fight between two cities na nuon... it should be who will benefit from it when it is being used -> its the visitors.

oh yah.. one more thing.. CEBU DOME is nice name for it... like TOKYO DOME.

dili ni dapat maabot og ingon ani... basin mapareho na sa SRP nga issue. ang alaot ang residente na hinoon. No city in Cebu province should take credit for it...

your referring to Cebu province right? actually i'm not familiar with the income a year for Cebu province and Cebu city... that's why i'm asking.
