if you're using router for your smart bro, you must connect your smart bro modem to your PC and log-in the information given in the portal. After it is registered from the base station, try to browse to the internet to check the connection is ok, Copy the mac address of your PC (cuz this is the mac address registered at the base station given for you to have your internet connection) and connect your smart bro modem to the router and straight through cable to your PC Network Card. Configure your router to auto DHCP (which obtains IP address given from smart bro) and then clone the MAC Address of yours to the router settings (if your router has this settings). Save the settings on the router and start browsing to the internet (in which you are connecting now from the router itself not directly from the smart bro modem).
Note: Router acts now a gateway server to smartbro which stores the settings the same as your PC configured to bypass the gateway PORTAL.
