misleading na hinuon bai nga gikan ko sa Caminade kay naay gihatag na Husky ako amigo nya ako unta ipachange ang name niya kay siya ang breeder then ingon taga Caminade nga dili na pwede ma change ang name sa breeder.machange ra ang name daw sa dog.mao mana ila ingon,so alangan unsa man ako e post diri, nga mao man ila ingon.mao gani ko nag inquire ko didto kay wala koy idea unsaon then mao man ila tubag.kinsa man ako tuhu-an ikaw or ang Caminade?
ahhh. caminade lang tuhu-i bro.
wala man sad ko nag insist for you to force swallow the knowledge im sharing (of being a pcci member).
wala tingali mo nagka sinabot sa taga caminade.
ang ako lang gilikayan kay ma mislead nya ang ubang istoryan na "under PCCI you can change a dog or a puppy's name" even after litter registration.
you can always stand on what you believe in. i honestly admire that.
- g
i already shared you the facts with the links i provided in the earlier post. thats straight from the horse's mouth(PCCI and in PCCIonline.org) that there is no such thing as change of dog's name. secondly there no such payment in the schedule of fees for that item. please click the links i previously provided or the links i re-qoute below.
thanks.

I agree with guilliam. You cannot change the dog's name and the breeder's name. It says so on their website. The only thing you can opt to change is the owner's name (and the address duh). Hope that helps.Mao sad ang ingon sa akong friends sa uban forum specifically for pets. ^_^
guilliam, mao gani ni ingon ko sa akong opinion kay mao man gud ila ingon.so either sila ang nasayop or insakto sila, but as what ive said wala ko knowledge ana.mao gani ako ni post ko last time para jud unsay tinuod coz ila pangayo kay 900 plus...then i read something na 200 plus .mao gani ni ask ko asa ko mutuo nimo bah or Caminade?
if nakasuway ka pa change then tell us unsa ang right way,no intension to mislead the forumers here.
ang ako ra na experienced ako gi-share diri.
your reply is highly appreciated.

AFAIK, if you register your dog with AKCUPI, PCCI will your dog's registration with PCCI and dili na ma balik og register sa PCCI, so think first before registering with AKCUPI, HTH!
sila or ang caminade staff ang sayop kon ning ingon sila "pwede change ang name sa dog/puppy".
the only thing you can change in the pcci pedigree or pcci registration or formally called "PCCI Certified Pedigree & Registration Certificate" is the owner's name/s.
if there is a mistake in color or markings or gender, that will be subject to the secretary's(club secretary) approval after submission of notarized affidavit stating your facts. ive read somewhere; ppf ata a case like this and kelangan ng mentioned documents and approval.
for procedure on how to transfer ownership from prvious owner or from the breeder, here quoted as follows:
from this url: Philippine Canine Club1. Secure Required Documents.
- Registration Certificate. Upon purchase, the seller should give you a registration certificate (much like a birth certificate) that is essentially a certificate of your dog's identity, providing recognition and official documentation of your dog's place in breed history. The name that appears on your dog's registration certificate was chosen by your dog's breeder and is unique. No other registered dog can have the same name.
- Pedigree. Together with your registration certificate is your dog's pedigree that traces its parentage back four-generations. You must bring this document, with the back portion properly endorsed by the seller to the PCCI to be able to transfer the dog to your name as your proof of ownership.
2. Fill up membership form.
Applications for membership are downlodable on this website at the left portion of the Home page. These are also available at the PCCI office.
3. Submit Requirements and Forms to PCCI.
Please bring your requirements and duly signed forms at the PCCI office at Room A206 Hillcrest Condominium, 1616 E. Rodriguez Sr., Blvd., Corner Hillcrest Street, Cubao, Quezon City or you may also fax these to (02)7217152.
so check your pcci pedigree or registration that was given to you by the breeder or previous owner whatever the case maybe; you should see that at the back of the pedigree/certificate is a TRANSFER FORM. the breeder or previous owner should have affix his signature, either with date or without.
so that in fact is like or similar to an open DEED OF SALE in legal documents.
fill up that back area where there are info for the new owner(which is you) with of course your signature affixed to it.
submit that pcci registration to pcci office, together with your payment for transfer of ownership (last transfer i had, i've heard they accept payments via LBC); either by mail or personally or by processing agencies like pet shops who provide this kind of services for a service fee in return.
if you return to caminade and you are entertained by the same person who you have talked to last time(who said puppy/dog name can be changed); insist of being assisted by another staff who is more knowledgeable. if that person insist in return that he will be the one to assist you; dont think twice run out to the door!

and vice versa sad ni nga from AKCUPI to PCCI sa? obvious answer but i just want to confirm.
ambot lang sa noh, kay after the ebbing of the tides from the PCCI factioned members, mao man ning result. ang akoa lang ani kay basin ba in the future or few years after kung mawala na ang founding members mahimo sad ning "PCCI the second", daghan nasad issues with finances, issues with properties, issues among board members, mag factionalized na sad. the fact na wala pa gani nag 1 year ang AKCUPI, murag taas taas pa ang establishment of ties and recognition ani with other clubs and affiliations locally and internationally. so for now; IMHO stick sa ko with PCCI tingali. naka established naman gud with ties and affiliations thru decades(46 years to be exact) ang PCCI even though it has issues. hence its newly established; it will go thru natural process of birth pains. simbako ma bungkag ang AKCUPI, asa man puniton ang pedigrees sa ako mga four legged best buddies![]()

Akcupi is here to stay, it's here to give PCCI a run for their money, What i'm saying is that since PCCI also started as a small group before it got to its present size now. Although a newbie akcupi will definitely work it's way up. It is run by a small group of responsible dog breeders. If you also compare their prices Akcupi's is very reasonable. just give them a chance. I am also a PCCI member but with the way things are going in PCCI you think they might still ber there next year or two years from now? I'ts best that we have a lot options right?
