TANGA-TANGA man to ang secretary ... katong Mercy ang name.

Here's what happened to me:

I called last friday for the 17-40 f/4L.

I was told to come on Monday to check the merchandise. I was also
told to text first if I'm coming.

On monday, I texted the secretary. I specifically told her I'm coming for
the 17-40 f/4L. She told me ok daw, I can come.

When I WAS in the office, I was then told that the 17-40 f/4L ISN'T
available.

Geeeh ,.. she could have told me it was taken already so I WOULDN'T WASTE
MY TIME going to the Sunstar office.

Same case happened to me..

Had the 20d package reserved to me since last week but meeting can only be done today since it was already the weekend. Texted last night and confirmed purchase of items today; and I did receive an acknowledgement of meeting at 10am. Today I texted again that I'd be on my way in a bit since I was doing something at work, and again I got a reply of 'ok'. Then I head straight to their office; arriving 1030am. Called when I was entering the office and coincidetally met the person I was communicating in one of their doors; only to tell me - it just got sold! And the guy who bought it just left like few seconds I got in. I was very surprised since I thought it was already 'RESERVED' for me. Anyhow, the Secretary explained that they we're not properly calibrated with the Manager; he wasn't aware that the Secretary had it already reserved for me. So he ended up selling it to the first guy who showed up and saw the items.

I'll take it as it is. Guess, it's not my luck. Anything can always happen.

Oh btw, they assured me that they'll be posting more Canon items in weeks to come. They're shifting all their systems to Nikon. So goodluck na lang to all buyers!

I got the 17-40L. Nice item. I totally didn't know that someone else had reserved it before me. I thought I was the one who got in first.

I think total miscommunication lang gyud to ganina. Mercy was nice to me. Gitagaan pa ko pastillas pang-snacks.
