maybe you didn't know that the Balmain dress Penelope Cruz wore to the oscar's is actually vintage? It's a 60 yr old gown. I didn't know it was until somebody pointed it out. It didn't look vintagey because it was just really beautiful and not granny-like.

also, the zuhair murad dress worn by miley cyrus, there's a similar vintage one out there,a 1949 dress by christian dior.

I read that it's a vintage piece. I liked it but it looks like a wedding dress.
The zuhair dress looks better on that model than it did on Miley I reckon.
