As for my opinion.. to show your faith you have to show it in your actions. It is like loving a person, when you love someone, you don't just say it, you do something to show it.. Jesus did criticized the pharisees and levites inspite of there know-how of the laws and doctrines, because, they are all preach and no actions.. he even called them "hypocrites".
Jesus also taught us to love and be compassionate. How can we follow that if all we do is have faith without action?
Besides, can we really say who is the "true" Christian and who is "not"? Isn't it just like in the same league with the "God's judgement" stuff? If we think as Christian, isn't it in God's premise already?

the Bible says we can tell who are the true followers by the fruit they produced but we have no right to pinpoint an individual and judging him by his actions alone.
Truth is we ourselves know if we are really christians or not. Do we have a personal relationship with Jesus? Do we completely believe what Jesus said? do we made Him our Lord and Saviour?
Is the Jesus we believe the Jesus of the bible or are we making Jesus fit into our own image?
