voltage supply na sa AGP bro. older mobos kay 3.3 (2x) volts ang default compared to newer mobos which are 1.5(4x) and 0.8volts(8x). or just maybe like they said incompatible imong videocard sa mobo. try checking your mobo manual or manufacturer website for supported videocard for your mobo.

Ang 4x or 8x are backward compatible meaning maski unsa pana imo VC mo support ra imo mobo.

Ang reason for me ngano dili cya ka boot using new cards you tried to install kay basin sa imo bios naka allocate/stack didto ang lowest speed lang sa AGP or ONBOARD ba imo gi gamit mao wa ka boot.

The best thing for you to do:
Assuming imo na gi sulod ang new card nimo nga FX5500 k then try to clear CMOS kuhaa ang battery for 5-10 mins then i short sa 2-3 jumper ang CLEAR CMOS kay ang default is 1-2 man. So after ma clear i balik ang jumper sa default 1-2 then i balik ang battery. RESTART...let see if its working.

Else i balik ang onboard then restart go to bios i configure ug tarong k.

    I hope it helps.
