i think mores law is only applicable to transistor type architecture...

waht if in the future dili na transistors atong gamiton..... ako tan-aw sa future is that mugamit na ta biological computers.... we can have a cloned genetically engineered human brain (pwede sad animal brain... monkey)... all in one pa one brain to power GPU, CPU, ETC....with a bus speed equal to the speed of thought.

If i remember correctly

C2Q has 582M transistors released in 2006
i7 has 731M transistors released in 2008

2 years gap but the transistor size has not doubled


on the GPU side, nvidia "breaks" the law..

G80 681M released in 2006
GT200 1.4M released in 2008


But if you are talking about how "impressive" the 32nm road map would be then i would have to agree on that

naunsa na man ni uie? siguro dapat i amend ang Moore's Law, to state that "the minute you buy something new, something better will come out the very next day". LOL.

if you do that, that's not moore's law anymore.
