Pacman becomes a doctor

that is part of advertising in our school.. what is business dba? hehe! nd swu lang ang naay course nga physical education.. dn manny becomes a doctor because of his expertise in the field of boxing.. dli ky ang n.u gihuna2x doctor nga mananambal, hahaha!!.. and 4 me, manny deserves it!!

I suppose we didn't mean Doctor as a Medicine personnel... hehehehe.... for formality reasons I really don't like the idea of making him a honorary doctor because in the first place, unsa mai nahibaw-an niya anah nga field?? though yes maau siya sa boxing, but try ask him if he knows what a "honoris causa" supposes to do?? not just waving on motorcades and promoting his earned title... no offense (d ko gusto ug debate) but this is really my opinion on this issue....

IMO, SWU is just trying to ride the "PAC-MANIA"...why the rush? they were denied by CHED when they tried to award the Docorate of Human Kinetics (honoris causa) at first..to avoid the embarrassment since it was publicized since December last year, they opted to bestow him the Docorate of Humanities (honoris causa) which is usually given out to personalities who excel in their field..and anyone can be given such honor, upon the descretion of the awarding school..

add to that, there are other befitting schools who should have given such distinction...U.P. Diliman College of Human Kinetic, MSU-Main College of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation or Foundation University - the only two insititutions in the country authorized by the Philippines Sports Commission to offer doctoral and master's degree programs in sports management and sports science...

but as what one of Pacman's song goes "Para Sa'yo, ang laban nato"..

guess everyone, if not all Filipino's cheered for each victory and recognition the man brings to the country..

Humanities, is the study of humans. Even if they wont give me an honorary degree.
Pacman can build his own university and become the dean... otherwise. People always criticize hard working people. it's human nature.. crab mentality sa mga pinoy....
