or, some good people are too good they make medium people look bad.

a part of me thinks the crucifixion story has set a twisted trend and assassins are actually faithful believers who "sacrifice" themselves by taking on the the judas role by necessity. somebody's got to do it for the world to finally acknowledge and embrace my master's teachings.

in a culture where "righteous" can be used alongside "killing", there would be no need for assassinations and therefore won't be as dramatic. just kill 'em all and let god sort 'em out.
