let's take into account the non-religious and atheists, subtracting 11.92% and 2.35% from 46.66%, giving us 32.39%. so sir, is there in any way that 32.39% becomes a basis for something major, in comparison to 53.34%?

your premise, "major religions do not reject reincarnation", sir, is incorrect. you would be correct if, and only if, you would be saying that, "there are more religions believing in reincarnation".

as for the sources sir, that ISLAM and CHRISTIANITY reject reincarnation, you can read Roman Catholic Archives sir, and you will see that no OFFICIAL RC doctrine promotes reincarnation. the same goes for ISLAM.

sir, you believe that many religions believe in reincarnation. then, let us give the FIVE major religions.
[1]Christianity - no doctrine of reincarnation - How about the Nazarenes, the Christian Universalists and GNOSTICISM
[2]Islam - no doctrine of reincarnation - How about SUFISM
    [3]Hinduism - believes in reincarnation
[4]Chinese Folk Religion - no doctrine of reincarnation - ARE YOU sure? how about TAOISM?
[5] Buddhism - believes in reincarnation

although, again, read at your own risk.
DO your homework sir (Major religions who believe in reincarnation) Read and study this carefully sir!

These are the religions and systems of thought who believe in Reincarnation:

Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism, Taoism, Christianity, Gnosticism, Judaism, Islam, Native American, Norse Mythology! Contemporary Perspectives (not religion): Anthroposophy, Theosophy, Scientology, and the New Age Movement.

you're pointing out an article i have already read and reviewed. sir, now i do not wonder why you have so far fetched claims. it seems that you no longer have the ability to determine fact from fiction. the article NEVER presented that MAJOR RELIGIONS, LIKE CHRISTIANITY (General Majority) believe in reincarnation. sir, you do your homework. sir, do you have a rebuttal to the statistical data that i have presented? i'm guessing you're still asking your "analysts".

FOR THE RECORD: only esoteric cults in christianity and some muslim mystics believe in reincarnation. please do not make things up. the overwhelming majority of CHRISTIANITY and ISLAM denominations REJECT REINCARNATION. read that in the article that you have presented sir. minus christianity and islam, the above religions you specified only make up for a little over a fourth of the total statistical data.

let us quote the first part about reincarnation and christianity(from your wiki article):
the overwhelming majority of mainstream Christian denominations reject the notion of reincarnation and consider the theory to challenge basic tenets of their beliefs. Many churches do not directly address the issue, but indirectly, through teachings about death (see Particular judgment). A few consider the matter open to individual interpretation due to the few biblical references which survived the purging of texts considered to be heretical in the founding years of Christianity as a church.
talk about doing homework. sheesh. oh, the irony.

hahaha. don't create myths reg. i never said that majority of major religions do not believe in reincarnation. quote the part please, where i said that MAJORITY OF MAJOR RELIGIONS DO NOT BELIEVE IN REINCARNATION. quote it please. but for the record, let's look at your favorite source, wikipedia:
The world's principal religions and spiritual traditions may be classified into a small number of major groups or world religions. According to the 2005 survey of Encyclopędia Britannica, the vast majority of religious and spiritual adherents follow Christianity (33% of world population), Islam (20%), Hinduism (13%), Chinese folk religion (6.3%) or Buddhism (5.9%). The irreligious and atheists make up about 14%, and about 4% follow indigenous tribal religions.
so according to wikipedia, your favorite source, christianity, islam, hinduism, budhism, and chinese folk religions are being followed by a vast majority of adherents. christianity generally rejects reincarnation, so does islam. chinese folk religion have no belief in reincarnation. that gives us 3 religions that do not believe so. we have hinduism and buddhism believing in reincarnation. 3 vs 2. so it is conclusive that 3 out of the 5 major religious groups do not believe in reincarnation. you do the math. but then again, can you??

    LOL.
