Samsung i900 - OMNIA ***** CUSTOM ROM ***** 30.01.2009 - WinMo @ MoDaCo
Try here bro... naa pd change logs diha. Im using this too, coz so far this is the bestest ROM ive tried. Taril made it too. Custom, yet maintained the original OMNIA interface and apps.
Oh btw, there is a Samsung Shop, the service center in Capitol, near NBI building. Dunno if you could test an Innov8 though. But you could try though...![]()
i already tested the innov8 earlier.. didn't like it
it was really bulky, esp. if you slide it open.. most things are similar to a nokia n95, and since my previous phone was a n95, don't wanna have deja vu hehehe
im still having problems with my omnia though, can't seem to find where's this and that, but it's always like that first time..
anyone got a phone number of cellpod? i still have to confirm why my package doesn't have a car charger whereas it is written on the box that it is included.
if u run into any trouble, u can always ask us here. i'm sure everyone's willing to help.
i already asked them that. car charger is an optional accessory.
anyone have the number for the samsung center in capitol? i wanted to ask if i could order a tv-out cable from them. apparently, the i900 uses a diff cable (diff port) from the u600 and other so i couldn't use the one i had before.
even if it's printed on the box? pero gray color hinoon ang car charger..
okay first query. intalled Windows Mobile Device Center kay mag update unta ko sa latest Samsung-released ROM before going to Taril's.. i can't tick contacts, messages etc for syncing and i don't have the backup/restore option.

do you have outlook installed already? coz it wont work with just windows mail. if ur planning to upgrade now, send me a pm and i'll send you my ym so i can help u out.
btw, ur gonna need win xp for flashing. it wont work with vista. i read that there was a work-around, but i haven't tried it.
@c_cebrecus: for custom ROMs, you need win xp. for the official ROM, you can use vista; however, the official ROMs are rather strict with version info...
since you are new with omnia, I suggest you explore first the original interface for a couple of days before you flash it with a custom ROM.
Samsung Official ROMs
i've tried the Vista workaround for my windows mobile device, dunno if it'll work with Omnia.
yes i have outlook already, but do i need to configure it first?
and im trying to install the official firmware but when i run it it says Windows Mobile Device Center needs to be installed first, and it is installed already.
