Patrizekirsten answer is very esoteric; it will be the organ of intuition in the next level of human development; right now we have the brain as the organ of thought forms; w/c coincides our development right now being stationed in the 5th root race of 5th sub race; when the wave is geared towards the 6th root race we develop a sense of knowing that of the 6th principle w/c is the higher manas, its manifestation is intuition; so by then humans are no longer that much of a linear thinkers but intuitive
