Basta banda nga muhimo ug original music saludo ko ana. Kanang magsige ug remake, mang-ripoff ug kanang sigeg cover mao nay way mga ayo.

Honestly, I don't give a SH*T kung unsay getup sa usa ka banda. As long as presentable and dili PAKA-UWAW. The songs they make and how they express their music are what's important for me. Wa man kaha ni silay mga dungan nga stepping (dance moves) ig tukar? Wahahahaha!

Naay uban diha, rockers kaayog pamorma lagi, asta attitude -- wa pa gani "didto", sweto na kaayo, dagko nag mga ulo...PERO PATUKARA? Kung dili puro covers ang tukaron, hugaw kaayo manukar, yagaw lang agi...basta kay makatukar lang...basta kay maka-HASI lang...d man gani kahibaw maminaw ug levels sa ilang instrumento. Bato2x sa langit...ang tamaan FA-ET! Naa bitaw tay banda nga naas Manila ron...PORMA raman diay ga-ayo kuno matod pas kadaghanan diri. Di nalang ko mu-mention sa pangan kay ma-merge nya ni nga thread didto ug apil...kakuyaw.

Para nako, basta mga taga Cebu nga manghimog orig...payter (basta di lang ripoff ha!).

technically, bands who play cover songs or play songs that the public loves (regardless of genre) are labeled as show bands. mao ba na atong definition?

ang hastang di man mutukar ug cover. well, sa akong mga natanaw na gigs, anyway.

i get your point na girly-girly ang vox, pero di man nato matawag na show band based on the get-up gud. di ba ang music ug performance man dapat atong basis? ako lang ni opinion ha...pero kung mu-perform sila, bagsik man gud. di nako makita ang pagka-showband sa ilang tinukaran.

pero unsa man gyud pasabot anang "show band feel"?

regarding the vox's get-up...personally, ganahan ko. it's rare man gud sa rockers na sexy ug outfits. sakto, murag na-stereotype na bulingit ang mga rockers (paita sad uy! hahahah!). pero nindot ang combination sa pagka-sexy sa vox ug sa pagka-astig niya mukanta. maybe it's just me, pero ganahan ko ug sarah mclachlan na dating...mag-gown man gani na sya pirmi. even amy lee of evanescence, di ba mag-gown man na sya? girly-girly with a rock twist.

"showband feel" -Â* rock musicians and mga peeps na naa sa scene ray maka feel ana. and it's not a bad thing... ok... i'm gonna try to explain it. it's NOT the GET-UP gyud ha... thats why it's a FEELING. kung get-up pa ang basis then it should be VISUAL and not a FEELING ryt? i think and i felt that they or somebody on that band just don't have that "ATTITUDE" that u kinda noticed comin from that ol' metalhead or punk rocker that u see in the corner of some seedy bar where the music is unpleasant to the mainstream ear.

yeah... i guess thats it... "attitude". i just can't feel that much rock attitude when i saw them first. and it's never about the GET-UP although mu matter siya in some silly capitalist/evil genius way but check david bowie on a 3-piece suit... u'll still know and feel that this david bowie guy is one sick rocker albeit gay but still one heck of a rocker and compare that picture to your friendly neighborhood "DANCER" cum "PUNK ROCKER" in a zero shirt, dickies pants, chuck taylors and some piercings and a mesh cap. no matter how that guy dresses up to be punk he will always have that dancer AURA (WAHAHAHAHAHAHA... i have to laugh at this picture)

yeah... rock is rebel music and u juz can't deny that some juz have this rebel feel or aura when u see them wakin on the streets and some would just have this mainstream aura even when u see them rockin on a stage

this is in no way related to hastang as a band ayt? coz i myt be wrong... and i have nothing bad to say about hastang and in-fact i find their music... mmmmm... rather nice.

it's juz the rocker/rebel-without-a-cause aura/attitude that i can't seem to see in the vox... ionno about the other members. i guess i didnt "check" em out. wakekekekekeke...
