OT: lagi. *note to self* will only hang out in atheist threads when munzter666 is around as he is the only atheist in istorya.net that makes sense and is not abrasive. he's the only one i like to discuss things with because he's smart and does not act like he's offended and wants to eat all of us curious people when we question things.

he's the only one most people like discussing things with too, i guess. i'm basing that from the awesome discussion we had here this afternoon.

well for me.. i just like reading all your posts. both sides informative. but of course im for the christians..hehe

atheist (self-proclaimed) do make a sound argument.

christians, were taught to be nice people esp to those who do not believe... both parties are abrasive.. (yes! dont deny it) but let's be respectful to others opinion no matter how absurd we think they are.

so just because this thread is about being atheist doesn't mean that theists, or anyone for that matter can't comment about anything illogical being said.

btw, i think that if you "hate" God, then you might as well "love" him.. If you resent God, and blame him for the loss of your loved ones, then you secretly believe in him. so there's no point parading urself as an atheist.

if there is in fact some God, he would be amused at people who hate him, at least these people care about hating him. the real enemy of love is apathy, not hate.

it takes a lot of energy and time to hate passionately, the same way with love, zero effort for apathy. if you hate God that much, well... you get the idea.

so atheists, if you want to sound convincing, don't blame God, or hate God, or think about life after death with some supreme being (God) judging you for your actions.

i'm not an atheist, but i'd love to know about people's "deconversion" stories. so up for now.

ingon bya ko dili mudeny...hehehe well, actually it all depends on what side ur on. for me, i find what some of you said abrasive (i dont mean jst u) but for justice sake, i did find it abrasive too what the christians have posted. so we're even. no one's the better.

so maybe you think ur not abrasive... FROM YOUR POINT OF VIEW.. pro for the others they find it that way.

One time I asked an atheist this question: If some atheists like you were not those traditional atheists, does it mean that you have evolved from your level of consciousness? Until now I got no answer! So, where is the RESPECT to the questioner? I deserve an answer!

i didn't say all atheists believe in god. i just said that if a self-proclaimed atheist hates God, or is disappointed in God, then that person secretly actually believes in God! get my point?

if you're an atheist, and you don't believe in God, then ignore my statement because clearly, dili ka maigo. it's an if statement.

it was a tip for self-proclaimed atheists like lady_blackrose who seems to be so disappointed in the catholic church, and in God (basing on her other posts)...
