here's a view of the moon during the start of the penumbral eclipse, ganiha lang gyud. unfortunately wala gyud ko kahuman kay ning cloudy man dayon.

Nice shot DM! Just a little blurred (is this handheld?) but otherwise good exposure, one can see the beginning of the darkening of the 4th quadrant.

You guys can also try to make multiple shots for stacking purposes. I was trying to learn Registax a while back, because I wanted to try stacking, but ran out of time to fully realize its potential for my early astrophotos.

ALP manila just informed me that there will be an upcoming activity here in cebu that will be handled by chris go this coming feb. 28, it will surely be filled with fun activities. i'm trying to arrange now to be back here in cebu by that day or the night before. hopefully we'll all see each other in that day too

I would like to try this Registax but dli pa pwede because of limited resources. heheh.. one day SOON!! we'll, hopefully. Stacking is really great technique getting a very good astronomical image eh. With all the noises you get when imaging, ah! The one who discovered this technique is definitely a genius!hehhehehe..
