I understand there are a lot more pressing issues and true people should weigh it out before doing certain actions. but as ive said in the past this is still a democratic country and people have rights, as we have rights to critic what other people do case in point what we are doing in this thread. Lets finish the story before we put the Burden on the Burdens , fighting for what u believe in isnt usually popular but if it can teach people to do the right thing then i guess its worth it.

And again whether it be Kris or Kim , im sure they would do a good job at it

I hope the burdens understand that being a democratic country, what there doing is right because if they loose this case, I hope their daughter wont be too demoralized to continue to be a doctor.... I hope as parents, the parents of ms. burden should think of their daughter graduating and passing the board exam as a doctor first, rather than pursuing this bull coz again if they loose can kim rise and try to study hard to be a doctor after all these destructive emotions they have gone thru... Drag, then again your not KIM and your not her parent , we dont know what KIM will do or not do. Why do people think they know whats best for KIM , if its anyone its her parents and herself. Sure we can give our thoughts ie latter part of your dissapproval of things. Fact is we are not them. If they think what they are doing is right because they were brought up that way let them see it through. I dont know KIM but im believing she is stronger than how you portray her to be. I am believing she isnt dumb enough to just forget her studies. The Hope is she can look back in the future and say she tried to do what she believed in, she did what was right.

The issue here isnt the crown, or accolades (heck she even returned it) The point is fixing what is wrong in the system, and if we all keeep mum about it then nothing will change, Its like part of our culture that keeps quiet about corruption in this country, "Ok lang na kay mao may naandan", I actually think these people are brave to do what they believe in. And speaking of going front page, it wasnt their decision but the media, maybe we can ask the editors there are more important news, then again we are not editors ...

Yes it is unfortunate you see killings, Theft, all the bad things that has happened in Cebu and the World, but as a human being cant you stand your ground and do what you believe in? it's JUST a beauty contest alright. but drag, just put it this way... if people can rig events like this in favor of their interests (much more if it's against you) even if its very apparent that something wrong happened along the way, would you just allow things like this to slip away?

anyway, this issue will die down eventually and people will soon lose interest about the topic. but the important lesson that we can learn from this is how the people in the higher ups (whom we trusted so much) handled this case (and how they bungled in covering this up). if the burdens (representing the oppressed, much like us) hadn't pushed for truth, would there be an investigation? will they make the first step and ask for an apology and promise not to do it again? would the truth be set free. sounds very Filipino to me.

sus ang problema nato ron ang snatchers na mga 16 years old or younger, mga laid off workers, mga tao dili ka kaon, overpopulation and etc.. etc... etc... daghana nato ug problema mga kahigsuonan its just pissing me off everytime i take a dump(thats coz thats the time i can read the dailys) most of the time they are in the front page... i hope they know that there are more very very important issues to cover... for the burdens 1 pc of advice ayaw kaayo mo pa dala sa media, pls dont consider to be on the front page a positive issue kay tungod sa crisis mangita gyud ang media ug tsismis...

Exactly! on second paragraph good one Moyts - Anyway we are just giving thoughts and opinions, healthy exchange of pros and cons , and yes we care for the right reasons. Id hate for this be another debate, back to work have a good day all
