Yep. Granted, when she reaches the age of puberty/adolescence, she will encounter the things I've mentioned. It's up to her to decide whether these things will benefit her or not in the long run, but I'm banking on the fact that, since she has my genes, she will choose wisely. If not, then hopefully she can learn from her mistakes, like any other human being.

posibli dili to iya anak.... bcos another news came out nga dahgan ni claim father sa baby...
kana ang babae daghan og karelasyon... currently the authority is conducting DNA check to detemine who's the father....
In other words, you would have wanted this terrible thing to happen just so you can find another excuse to pass a bill (HB 5043) that will do NOTHING to address the issue.
The end justifies the means, eh? Sick.
As always, you choose to remain blind to the REAL causes. The ones HB 5043 will NOT address. Real smart.Well, obviously another CBCP scapegoat would be the media and poor parental guidance
Contraceptive distribution will NOT lessen unwanted pregnancies. It ill only increase promiscuity and result in more of these, along with an increase in demand for abortion. The historical data bears this out. I've compiled some of this data in a blog post:
The Evil Cousins

Last Sunday I attended a meeting of Catholics lay women and women religious (nuns), graced by Auxiliary Bishop Cortes and Sr. Pilar Versoza (of Pro-Life Philippines) that addressed exactly this very issue (unlike the RH trapos). They reviewed the existing counselling and relief center for women at Sto. Rosario Parish in Lahug, called Kahupayan. "Kahupayan" means "to relieve".
The Kahupayan crisis center at Sto. Rosario operates full time, utilizing volunteers and with very little funds. They help women who have all sorts of problems, from rape victims, battered wives and girlfriends, jobless indigents, even drug addicts. They provide guidance, accommodations (when possible), food, legal referrals, and other assistance. Just as important, they work to PREVENT such cases when they can. They even counsel the male partners of women and engage in proper formation of the young.
More on Kahupayan and other efforts in Cebu:

This is a clear example of what the Catholic Church is doing for women victims. These address the real issues and their causes. Sto. Rosario is not the only such counselling center. Pro-Life Philippines also has facilities in Manila and Baguio. Here's a partial list:
Pregnancy Counseling Centers
- Prolife (Aurora Blvd., Quezon City) --- 422-8877, 911-2911, 0919-233-7783
- Prolife (Quiapo, Manila) --- 704-9797
- Family Life (Baclaran, Parañaque) --- 851-5770
- Welcome House (Paco, Manila) --- 563-6363
- Home for the Angels (San Andres, Manila) --- 562-8085
- Lifeline Counseling (Baguio) --- 0919-725-0523
Right this very moment there are plans to expand services similar to Kahupayan center in 10 more dioceses throughout the Philippines.
What is the Church doing? A LOT! Certainly far more than those who are trying to ram HB 5043 -- and abortifacient contraceptives -- down our throats!

lol naabot napud ang petition against reproductive health bill.
@topic:
Dungan silag tubo sa iya papa.
weird. reminds me of benjamin button. he was a teenager when his baby was, well, a baby. if we age backwards then mao ni mahitabo.
saon nang evolve nman ang mga tawo....hehehe
So, it's not an isolated case in the Philippines that someone so young will be regarded as a father with such huge responsibility. When I read some news about this, he just said he wanted to have a baby. I do not know if he has any idea how huge is his responsibility as a father. He just wanted to have a baby.
I've also read there are two other teenagers who are claiming to be the father of the child. It would seem that they will have to undergo DNA testing if only to determine who the father of the child is. It seems the parents have to exert more efforts to educate the youth on the huge responsibility of making a family.
