during format, partition your hd, 50-50, c ug d. or kung naa kay 2 ka hd mas nindot
after that mag anti-virus ka your choise, then you get a cracked version of uniblue registry booster and speedup my pc ug noobkiller. intall nimo, then e-freeze nimo ang drive C, lang.. then put all your downloads' destination to drive d, pero maintain jud ug monitoring sa drive d.
good part is your registry and the os is safe kung naay mahitabo sa drive d pwede na nimo re-format and drive d without reformating the whole pc.

mao na ako gamit karon, cge gko download mp3 games softwares(nga hugaw ako nay molimpyu). safe running now for 4 weeks

@ REDMAN kng dli ka ganahan i reformat ang imoha pc, try this procedure.

remove ur hdd and slave ur hd to another pc with antivirus, then go to Folder option,

then show hidden program, pag na set na nmo adto sa partition drive delete the mediaplayer.exe sarageronimo.exe and the 2 others mp3.exe ang the autorun.inf

i already 5pcs clean with this problem 2vista and 2xp 1home.

kng sa XP og Home nka infect ni mawala ang folder option nmo. dali rani sya i remove kng sa vista ra na infect.

i actually experienced this on a windows XP nga computer. and yes, I experienced what most nag post nga dili ma limpyo ang virus and samok kaau. in my case, sa akong pag assess lang sa akong gi buhat ha... the first 3 times kay dili jud cya ma detect sa akong avg free, nod32, ug trial version sa kaspersky.

I'm a subscriber of a certain web group nga mo post sila sa mga problems and mo hatag ug solutions ang ubang members just like here in istorya.... and i got the idea from one respondent, nga the reason why it can't be cleaned is because the worm is running in memory.... and you can't just restart your CPU because it is auto-loaded via registry settings. so what i did was, i used a freeware application which could stop or delete running tasks... and indeed nakit-an nko... after ato kay akong gipa run ang registry and I searched for any entry having the same process name (filename), then deleted those entries, i think naka delete ko ug 2 or 3 entries.... after ana kay akong gi manual search via DOS prompt tanang .exe files and chose which files are valid and which are not....

mao jud... mao gani nga kada taud nako sa akong usb sa laing pc nga dili trusted, before ko mo access sa akong drive via windows explorer, I will check via command prompt kung naa ba koy mga autorun.inf files and others.... mura nko ug paranoid but it pays rather than doing a reformat....

good news....tang2 na jud ang KAGID aw birus diay.......heheheh.......used kasperky...to kill the f@ken mp3.exe files and finished with an autorun file to kill all autoruns and used noobkiller for the finishing touches......quite a long process but its better than formatting the units..............
