Theosophy applies Eclecticism in the search of truth!

Eclecticism is a conceptual approach that does not hold rigidly to a single paradigm or set of assumptions, but instead draws upon multiple theories, styles, or ideas to gain complementary insights into a subject, or applies different theories in particular cases.

Eclecticism was first practiced by a group of ancient philosophers who attached themselves to no real system, but selected from existing philosophical beliefs those doctrines that seemed most reasonable to them. Out of this collected material they constructed their new system of philosophy. The term comes from the Greek eklektikos: choosing the best[1] Well known eclectics in Greek philosophy were the Stoics Panaetius and Posidonius, and the New Academics Carneades and Philo of Larissa. Among the Romans, Cicero was thoroughly eclectic, as he united the Peripatetic, Stoic, and New Academic doctrines. Further eclectics were Varro and Seneca.

it's not necessarily required. it's something you're born with. it's that inquisitive mind of yours that yearn for the Truth.

Since Theosophy is the study of divine wisdom, we are encouraged to study also the wisdom that is contained in all religions but not necessarily required. We believe in universal brotherhood and we always look for common teachings in all religions.

Theosophy is not a belief sir. it's not even a religion. it's just a comparative study of religion and much more. religions should not overpower christianity. and christianity should not overpower other religions. theosophy lets you see the least common denominator of other religions and so you find a kindredship in other individuals who do not share the same religion as you. it should promote the Oneness of all beings.

It is a Religion by Itself the objective is uniting men together ... bisan unsaon pa deny sa mga founder it is a belief being look forwarded to ..
