    • Next you put this activity in opposition to serving God. But is that accurate? Are oyu saying that you cannot engage in a money-making activity and serve God at the same time?

Clear these up. Unless you do, then it seems you are deliberately asking a vague question so that you can twist it to attack another person. That's also irresponsible. So clear up the vagaries first.
    I don't think its a vague question...

OK lets make the question simple - Business or Service to the Lord?

Wow nice.. hitting two birds in one stone.. God never requires money to serve him... Just imagine 1 billion pesos? for what? to serve him? its just pure business...

Your reasons for argument is systematic and repeatitive... if you're practicing LAW MY GOD I WILL FAIL YOU... (not referring to anyone)

kapuy balik2 argument nimo oi. Those are the same arguments passed on the other thread. The question here is WHY BUILD A 1 BILLION WORTH OF STONE WHEN YOU CAN JUST BUILD A SIMPLE CHURCH? a BIG issue about the Church's money is because "ITS DONATED", YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO QUESTION HOW ITS SPENT OR QUESTION THOSE WHO DONATED IT ON WHERE IT WILL BE SPENT... that is why we call it "DONATION"

READ THE MEANING WELL: A donation is a gift given, typically to a cause or/and for charitable purposes. A donation may take various forms, including cash, services, new or used goods as i.e. clothing, toys, food, vehicles, emergency or humanitarian aid items, and can also relate to medical care needs as i.e. blood or ... source: define:donation - Google Search

did you see the term CHARITABLE? DOES IT RING ANY BELLS? I don't see how a stone statue would've become CHARITABLE in any sense, unless of course if you have other meanings LIKE "RETURN OF INVESTMENTS" or "NET PROFIT" it does really mean one thing.... BUSINESS ENTERPRISE!

WHY NOT LIVE IN SIMPLICITY? WHY THE NEED FOR PUBLICITY? Jesus should've built LAS VEGAS.. if that was the case... then it would've been easier to build a 1 billion worth of stone... STATUE OF LIBERTY-LIKE SHRINE IS BS!!! pure BS!!! is the CHURCH A BUSINESS OR A SERVICE TO GOD? NGANU NAA MAN ROI? unsa mana PROFITEERING!??

totally agree ko, big projects should be carefully planned, and building one right now is simply not at its time... simple.

What if i am a plain businessman (not a priest), can't i serve the Lord for that?

ei flanker, are you a christian? granted your not into religious group at all, can you live without an income for your self? and all you can do is praying and worshiping God without eating? i think you are trying to say here is that Service to the Lord without Eating! how's that? even the atheist needs MONEY to survive for christ sake!
