i think human as we are, our tendency really is to hate especially for those people nga naka sakit sa ato. and truly it's so hard to forgive and love our enemies and people who are "unlovable." But still why does the bible say "love others as yourself", and "love your enemies"? in fact it even says "what good is it if you love those only who love you? even the unbelievers do that". is it really possible to love like Jesus? When Jesus was crucified He said "Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing" speaking about the people who crucified him in the cross. There was no resentment in him, but only love for his enemies.
A verse in the bible gives us a clue. it says "She loved much, for she has been forgiven much." what it says here simply is this: that those who truly have received the forgiveness and mercy of God will be able to love sinners just like us, realizing that though we are sinners and offenders of God, He has forgiven us through His son Jesus. mao na ang John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall have eternal life."
I hope this will help.
