Your common sense is BS. You DON'T have the facts. C'mon, boks, provide me some.
when God and the other disciples came to earth and preached I didn't recall them using wikipedia and the internet or any books whatsoever... Did you? or did St. Paul read articles from bible [dot] com to preach the word of God? well, what did they use? "common sense"... blessed by God's intelligence... manny I'm sure you have that...

woahh... strong words for such a tamed meaning.... blah! blah! blah!

A billion pesos can feed a lot of people. That's very true. But if Fr. Suarez can raise 2 billion, he can feed more. Of course, maybe he can't raise more than what is being spent. In which case, Fr. Suarez would be wrong.
when these words came out of your head they automatically became facts. LOL.. and the words coming out of my mind are hearsay... you picked the apples from my garden and now you say, you own it.

Surely 2Billion is ambitious, as if the Church and its funds are subject to AUDITING... we don't even know how they spend it. if it was possible I would love to help Fr. Suarez build it. I would even blog for it.

More excuses for NOT providing the facts?

    What a LOSER.

if it was possible I would love to help Fr. Suarez build it. I would even blog for it
You will never know if you REFUSE to look for the facts.

Grow up and be responsible. Before you accuse or criticize someone of wrongdoing, establish the facts first. You will look less silly that way.

Common sense? Apparently you DON'T have that either.

I laugh at your misfortunes manny... look who's talking look how facts can drive people mad. i told you to use your brain, and don't just copy paste from the internet wasteland

Nice tactics to delete this thread. why? afraid that people might read this and come up with their own common sense... lol

    I wrote:
we should build a shrine worth 1billion then? don't mind the hungry, unemployed, uneducated and sickly Filipino people. We will generate an enourmous amount of money after the Shrine is built, but as the expense of many scholarships, medicines, food, shelter, clothing and Filipino lives. Great! God would love that... Great plans, bad economy... two things which are relevant enough to generate a public dissatisfaction.
these are not facts... but truely, madly, deeply common sense

    Now you're hysterical.

Show me the facts, kid. Get that brain working. Prove your case against Fr. Suarez. Prove that he will spend more than he can give to the poor. Prove that he has a bad economic case. I challenge you. Don't be scared. I'll try not to kick your rearend too hard.

DON'T GIVE ME HEARSAY. WHERE ARE THE FACTS?

Now you're changing the subject. What';s the matter? Too scared to provide facts, boks?

By the way, the statue is to be made of stainless steel and brass. Can't you even get find the strength to get off your rearend and read what has already been posted?

Now that makes me wonder. How did you know the statue is going to cost 1 billion pesos? Did some little tweety bird tell you that? I hope you got that from a reliable source.

The bottomline: you are criticizing Fr. Suarez WITHOUT establishing the facts. That is IRRESPONSIBLE.

But making all sorts of excuses for NOT getting the facts is even WORSE!

1 billion whata heck. Manny open your eyes. please. and your ears.....

That's my point! How do we know it's really 1 billion? No source was ever cited. And how do we know it's for a statue only? Perhaps if someone could cite sources we could make a proper assessment. But so far, there's none. So how can we judge fairly?

If Fr. Suarez is proven to be doing the wrong thing, I have no problem with saying he is wrong. But we have to know the FACTS first.

From what I've read so far, he is in trouble for not following the Church guidelines for a Healing Mass. And his project sounds quite big. But there are no figures for costs, the actual items the alleged 1 billion will be spent on, whether that amount is true, or any figures on the return on investment that they expect. So there's no way to judge whether the project is beneficial or not.

Given the limited information we have now, I would be careful about spending so much. There's a lot of risk involved. If it pays off, then there will be more money for helping the poor and it would be a wise move. If it doesn't pay off, that's money wasted. But then I don't have the numbers so I have to be responsible and wait for the facts to come out.

The bottomline: we need the facts BEFORE we judge someone's actions.
