the vaccines for rabies today, dili makamatay. it is safe and effective. ang guidelines karon kung mapaakan i categorize. cat I no wound so no treatment. category II, scratch, no bleeding- give vaccine and observe the dog. category III head and neck bite, deep wound with bleeding, give the vaccine and immuneglobulin, mao ni nga timbangon aron ang mahatag nga immuneglobulin i-base sa imo timbang.
ang vaccine karon dili pareho sa una nga nerve3 tissue gigamit so it causes encephalitis. the vaccines used today are purified, so safe. pre-exposures are even given to health workers like doctors, nurses, nsg students and children at risk of exposure (kadto naa pets). ako gitagaan na ko pre-exposure immunizatin for rabies. wa pa ko mapaaki. para lang bakunado na ko. i-booster dose na lang kung mapaakan simbako

ple3ase don't resort to tandok. it will just give complications to your wound like infection, burns, etc. and will give you false hopes nga maayo ka. kadto nagpatandok nga wa ma rabies, wa gyud to sila rabies all the while. pero timingan ka nga mo develop ang rabies, wa na jd ka mahimo. 100% fatal ang rabies. kung naa na symptoms, palit na lang lungon. so kung napaakan mo, prevent, so pa immunize
