For me the Commission on Human Rights is doing its part in making sure that human rights are really respected and protected. But the thing is, this agency is kind of selective in attacking the violators of human rights. In the many years of my existence, I have yet to hear that the CHR condemns the leftist groups for their killings of soldiers and policemen and other officials of the government. When we hear news about soldiers getting beheaded or killed by the rebels, do we hear anything from the CHR? No. We hear the CHR only when civilians are killed, most of whom belong to the leftist rebel groups.

bitaw, sakto sad. maayo man unta ang purpose sa CHR. pero lang kay imbes nga katungod para sa tanan, magpili ra man silag kang kinsang rights ilang i-defend. kadaghan ng ordinaryong mga tao nga nabiktima sa crimes pero way CHR nga mi papel. pero kun kontra sa gobyerno ang agrabyado, mo papel na man hinuon ang CHR.
