    IMO,

Its not always about the brand name but you should also consider the OEM on the actual unit..

Heres a good example, The silverstone Zues 750ZF is made by Etasis , one could easily say that the DA850 can out perform the 750ZF right.. wrong! Long story short just read about it at jonnyGURU, he is a professional when it comes to PSU reviews.

I used to have a Generic PSU (waaay back) and for some reason, the computer locks up after two hours of very light use. I got a HEC SilentOp 385W and the problems disappeared. It's been very stable.

I sold the HEC 2 yrs ago and got a CoolerMaster 550W RealPower (it says its SLI-certified), and it's been rock stable for 2 yrs now. It was quite expensive when I got it (P 5,750), but so far, its worth it.

I believe by brand is not appropriate here, by Model and brand will be, not brand alone.
Everyone knows that theres a model in other brand that surpasses others and so on and so forth.

My " Thermaltake Toughpower 850W " doesnt fail me, not once.

Im sure theres lots of model with other brands surpasses it, but what is important is, it will deliver what you have expected to deliver to your rig with not a single problem.

Primary factor is the power outlet's voltage and current stablity, even if u have antec, silverstone, coolermaster psu's, nya cge low voltage inyo lugar/outlet, they only regulate power coming from the outlet. check ur outlet's voltage nd current by using volmeter/multitester. tis the primary factor for every electronic devices. a servo AVR is good also if u have a power hungry rig. thanks.
