...uhmmm...di ta ko ganahan mo apil2x ani...pero, nakabasa lang ko sa ubang nagpost that the documentary was about "a desperate move to bring down wowowee!"...haaay!..walay logic!..ang point sa story was the lack of justice and how the obvious inequality of distribution of wealth among the citizens of the Philippines!..If the government would have done something on the Philippine poverty, those victims and the rest wont resort to such act!..its obvious na sikat na ang wowowee and game shows kay tungod sa atong pagka-kabos..the docu is not trying to bring down wowowee...gi overlook ra man ninu ang content sa story kay tungod ang docu talks about wowowee tragedy..in fact, pag advertise ana, wa gi mention sa GMA ang show...it was quoted "ULTRA tragedy"...

..well, maka ana lang mo na nganong ibalik pa gyud to...it was in the past...kung kamo kuno ang namatyan?..would you even say such thing?..besides, it was a part of our history...can't we talk about that history?..

Case Unclosed investigates 2006 Wowowee tragedy



Seventy-one people died and many others were hurt when a stampede occured on February 4, 2006 on the first anniversary celebration of the noontime show, Wowowee.
For several days, people set up camp outside Ultra in Pasig City in the hope of securing themselves a spot in the show and wishing to be one of the winners of big prizes the show promised to give to lucky viewers.

A problem arose when the crowd swelled to around 30,000 because the venue had a capacity of only 17,000. When people were told that not all of them could be allowed inside the venue, the mob started pushing and shoving until a stampede occurred. Join Rhea Santos as she investigates the incident and talks to one of the victims.

No offense to the victims, but how is it wowowee's fault? it clearly stated the mob(MOB pajud ha, MOB) started pushing and shoving. ang wowowee ngstart sa pushing and shoving? the MOB mn ngstart sa problem. if they were responsible and disciplined enough, mu accept ta sila d sila ka apil. so dont blame other people sa imu pgka irresponsable. accept your mistakes sad oi.

naa mn foundation anah bro, 71 dreams foundation mn guru... wowowee it's not just about money nor prices neither raffles... it's a sort of entertainment and fun mn sad... and for sure wla mn sad nagpabaya ang network who held that event... then lisod sad baya mawad.an og kapamilya labi nah kalit kalit.. mao sad uban relatives sa victims still seeking for justice... we people has the right to know the progress of the case, but we people itself ang mismo nagpadako sa issue... for awareness, let's just all hope that justice would prevail...

but the fact man gud nga willy keep on inviting sa tv nga moadto sa ultra because anniversary nila unya dagko ug prizes. mao nay naka cause ug naka pa motivate sa mga viewers nga mo adto sila. kay ang mga tawo gusto pud tawun maka tilaw ug swerte peru instead of swerte nagka stampede... they should have said it sa television nga ang capacity sa ulta is around 7,000+ only.. both the management ug mga pipol ang naay sayop.

..sa ako lang ha..wowowee is so involved in this accident..naka-attract sila ug so much crowd pero kulang ra ang crowd control..although, it was unexpected..pero, ana man gyud nang accidents unexpected na mahitabo..and wowowee must be involve sa ana nga accident..they are responsible for the consequence they've done on attracting so much crowd..the good thing here though, that it made us realize na pobre na gyud kayng Pilipinas and that the whole Philippine society must do something to it, di lang kay ni problema sa mga corrupt na politiko (besides, nganong mapoblema man sad sila na nadato man sila sa pagka-coorupt..hehehe)..its a societal problem..and we need to act soon!..
