    I play in an online game "Utopia" and I have 2 kingdom mates (they happen to be husband and wife in real life) who lost both their jobs as they work in the same company. Now they're claiming around US$1200 a month in unemployment relief.

    Mas maayo pa sila bisag unemployment benefit dako ra gihapon by Pinoy standards. =)

    By pinoy standards. That amount is barely enough to cover the bills by "US standards". If they eat vienna sausages and saltine crackers all day, they might just survive...barely.

    This is the reason why the government of the USA needs to approve the Stimulus Bill but then the senate Republicans are acting like GOP's BS wasting time in the senate floor "misinformed" about the original purpose of the bill itself as "spending" to stimulate the economy.
