    duh! it's not so much about being positive or negative. it is about being factual and being objective. i know emax has its faults. i'm not blinded to that. don't tell me in your stay with emax there was nothing positive that you saw about the company? nothing at all?

    so what if the breaks don't coincide? you're getting paid to work, not to mingle during breaks. if you happen to have breaks together then good if not then so be it.

    yea we befriend the other staffs of emax regardless if it's our break or not.there's nothing wrong with that. they're an employee of the company just like anyone working there. the discriminating remark against them being in maintenance as if it makes them less of a human being is highly uncalled for. these people deserve every respect entitled to each individual. they are working and earning an honest living.

    to me this is where one's good upbringing hihgly stands out. let's put it this way someone i know who's lived his life in a silver platter, he who needs not work, he whose family owns the company who manufactures one of the leading car companies in the world as well as a few less famous brands is someone humble enough to take a cab and befriend taxi drivers or any other ppl he encounters in his daily life, compared to someone who is a mere employee of the same company yet thinks highly of one's self. tsk tsk tsk......

    There is no call center in the Philippines which partners agents to go on break just to satisfy their need for "company". Talking to maintenance people is absolutely the person's choice and by no means the fault of management.

    People work to earn a living. This is not some passé which should be open for interjection by those with negative outlooks in life and only work to find new friends or foes. You must be a fresh graduate or something because you seem to think this is a school. Well....its not.

    As mentioned countlessly on this thread by those who work in this sort of industry, every BPO company has its good and bad points.

    Get a chart for your day to day work as well as your Overtimes if you do.
    Exclude the CHARITY work of excess 30mins of unpaid breaks and After or Before shift meetings
    Check your IEX on a daily basis coz sometimes it get changed even PAST dates.
    also. Be sure to get a chart coz they CLEAR IEX on a regular basis so you cant see the MAGIC within.

    jcgoyong2 you must really be a neophyte when it comes to the call center industry. You just don't seem to get that schedules for breaks will always be different even though you are teammates. Especially once you are transitioning to operations from training in order to take calls.

    Most call centers always have post shift meetings for those agents who are new. Its one way to help them improve on their weak points and enhance their customer service skills. Ofcourse this won't translate into extra pay because you are already expected to have good product knowledge after training. Take time to think about this so it will make sense to you.

    Para nako ikaw ra man mangigilad dri cge lang ug husga na bati or magic2 ang Emax. If naa na katarungan imo mga reklamo imo unta na gi pa saka sa HR para ma ayos bahala na huwat ka ug dugay. Pasabot lang ana wala kai perseverance and integrity ang imo pagka tao. Tapulan kang dako. Ako pa nimo balik na lang eskwela ug pag daig2 sa imo ginikanan para naa ka allowance then pag happy2 dayon.

    Also, your posts are very inconsistent making at furious at your accusations. You mentioned that you immediately left the company after ebay and then talk about being hired.

    WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY IMMEDIATELY! :P

    Well, i'd like to do a point by point rebuttal, but i'll let the rest do it. :P

    P.S. I was in people support and we did not have attendance bonuses unless we hit all the metrices. That's what we call all or nothing. That's not the case in EPer though.

    do not forget, it was not us but you who made that comment making it sound like an abhorrent act.

    so what if some people are introverts? is it the company's fault? if these people are indeed introverts then these people would not mind the time alone but in fact revel in their moment of solace. let us not forget that it is always one's choice where to apply and to work. no one is being forced to work in emax. no one is even threatened to pay a certain bond to reimburse the company for the cost of training if one does not stay for a certain period of time with emax nor does emax have their employes sign a contract hindering them from finding opportunities elsewhere in the same industry. no emax does not do that while several other companies do claiming to have a non-compet agreement with some other companies yet these very same companies go behind each others' backs and pirate each others' employees. what did you say again about some the these companies that you say are better than emax?

    look who's talking?! you're calling us narrow-minded yet all the while we have been objective about all these even admitting ourselves that emax is not perfect but then what company is perfect? all the while who here has not been objective enough to give 2 sides of the story? not once did you mention anything positive about the company. you chose to ignore the question i threw your way regarding that. what do you call again the pot calling the kettle black? ---------. you've been claiming that emax is 'mangingilad' but how come i don't see anyone backing you up on that? did you not say it yourself that we are not getting paid to do this? yet how come here we are, several of us (in fact), defending the very same company on our own free will?

    hmmmmm..... what's the point of checking when we're being given the information we need without asking for it? we can even ask for updates on a daily basis if we want to but of course we understand that it's not the only job of TLs so we're fine with the typical weekly updates that we're getting. yes i have encountered a problem before with a lost phone time. logs did not come out. my TL was more concerned about it than I was. he knew for a fact i was logged in and a few other mgt ppl can attest to it. and yes my TL spent hours and more than a day trying to find the information because he did not want me failing my compliance for a day, even after i told him it's ok and not to bother anymore. I was prepared for the consequences which is what lost of attendance bonus for a day? Worst case scenario i get reprimanded and asked to explain myself which i was prepared to take. if they allowed it to happen i would have been appeased with them attaching their statement that they saw me in the office doing my job to at least give the report the benefit of the doubt. but no, these ppl cared enough not to let me go through that. they did whatever they could to get all the proof needed to prove it.
