hey guys!!! GLO stock is giving away 32Php/share dividend? my trainee has 80 shares in her portfolio, with market price at 825 p/s, so her holdings is valued 66,000Php. Compute: 80 x 32 = 2,560Php (dividend, no sweat, tax free). estimate average dividend per quarter is 30Php/share, so 80 x 30 = 2,400Pesos. Assuming value doesnt change, still 66,000pesos, so total divident in one year is 2,400 x 4 = 9,600pesos . 9,600 / 66,000 = 14.54 % interest income / year, no sweat, tax-free, money working for you!
and they say there's a Global Crisis ?!! hehehe

    Yes your right Sir.
The Problem is if you dont sell that before Feb 17, 2008 , im positive it will go down. It will be up for a while because of the Rush buying para maka kuha ng dividend after that everybody will sell ....

Thats my 1 cent opinion lang naman....

hehehe... Dividends doesnt depend on the price. it's all about position or shares.... in stocks, it's all about accumulating shares.... the more shares, the better! :>

wow. one of my trainee bought MWC at 11.00 last wednesdy. she can sell it today at 12.25. compute: 1.25 / 11 = 11.36 % change... 11% (more /less) profit in 2 days! Awesome!

investing an amount you cannot afford to lose is probably a top mistake.

    Your correct sir.

Sa akin la ang ay . becarefull lang sa pagbili.

    kasi example bibili ka today
    feb. 6, 2009
    Price 835.00
    10,000 shares

Hintay ka sa Ex Date Feb 12, 2009 on this date you are now sure to recieve the 32.00 dividen

Puwede mo gawin ibinta agad sa day ng EX-DATE habang mataas pa ang price dahil marami damand sa mga previous day...

sa akin palagay at experience After or on the day the EX-date, diyan na mag start baba or going normal ang Price. kasi profit taking na mga tsupitero diyan siyempre may dividend kana 32.00 tapos binta muna 840.00 or 830.00 or kahit 825.00. its sureball profit 22.00 pesos per share mo. thats how it goes sa akon na notice. hindi naman lahat parating ganito but mostly lalo na Crisis ngayun. walang gusto mag bili and hold. ang gumagawa niyan is mga newbie or mga long term investor lang or mga na-ipit na.

i dont know if klaro ba itong ibig ko sabihin. pasensya na po mga bossing.
