kng masuspended ang program, cancelon pd diay ning mga chat rooms? daghan sad gud nabiktima ani...dili lng dri cbu.

everyone can access chat rooms bsan naa pai age restriction.

my point is, it is everyone's responsibility kng mo engaged kag "meeting with a total strangers" anything could happen. pero tunggud lagi sa kagahi ug ULO suway gyd... this is just like "entering at your own risk" type of thing. so, everyone should be very careful when dealing with "strangers".

so, suspending this program is an overkill i agree...

sakto bro.. daghan gyud ug nabiktima anang chatrooms..
naa pa sab mga social networking sites..
dili man tingali solution ang pag ban ani..

but it's impossible to ban such things. if di sa chat, sa social networking websites such as friendster, myspace, facebook...etc. even at forum sites such as istorya itself. and let's remember, that before na uso ang internet, naa to'y partyline sa una... mga phone pal... or pina retro, pen pal...

there are soooo many avenues where people can agree to meet with total strangers.

    so here are my suggestions:

    1. meet at a crowded and fun place like a mall, parks(if that's your thing), during a public event or anywhere where there's people

    2. drag your friends with you

    3. do your own digging. ipa background check, if you have the means. ask where siya puyo, asa na school and see if you have a common friend or something... verify his/her existence.

    4. don't give away your trust easily. ayaw pasulod dayon sa bulsa

    5. take the time to know each other. if he's in a rush, he's probably not that interested after all.

~ pun-i ninyo kung naa mo lai'ng ika dalit.

Radio programs and chat rooms and social networking sites are different in some ways, i think. why? ky lahi man ang scope, responsibility sa radio stations and they have a much wider scope of audiences pod. From sign-in to sign-off any one can hear their broadcasts without even turning on your radio you can already hear them through your neighbors, cars, jeep, etc (same as with TV). Ang other medium that are mentioned above ky more on personal choice naman. Yes, crimes can occur anytime and on anyone but i'm hoping dili unta media ra pod ang nagpasi-ugda. Kahibaw naman gud unta sila in the early stages sa ilang program kung unsa ang mga bati epekto and feedbacks about their program, ila na untang gihunong or bisan nalang unta gi-reformat ang ilang mechanics and style.

I would just like to make myself clear and stand corrected too:
I'm not against dating and i'm not against dating shows as a whole in Radio or TV. What I don't want is the style of these radio stations and their programs. What i want to be banned are the "wanted textmate" style, hatag-hatag ug number on air and the date2x thingy nga walay labot ang station. If they really want dating programs, the station should organize the first date first... at least. Pareha ba sa dating programs sa TV. Naa jd kuyog mga crew. Dili ky pabaya-an lang. Duol jd kaayo na sa disgrasya. With that, kung ang nag-date magkasabot, magka-textmate after their initial encounter, aw ilaha na jd nang problema. From their i could say, clear jd ang conscience sa station ana.

Bottomline, radio stations should check first their responsibility to the public.

these two are tools - both are medium for public and private recreation, both have different range of users/viewers.

i don't think there is something wrong with the format of that program. it is the listeners responsibility to engage to someone they don't know exposing themselves to whatever circumstances that may arise during the encounter/meeting.

the program is only responding to those people's request - looking for textmates.

parehas ba nga nkakita ta ug ADS sa news paper either work-related or something else.

atong gi adto for let say work-related. apply ta ug trabaho then wla ta ma-hire. or let say pagpadung nimo sa place na disgrasya tah...

"ato diay i ban ang news paper nga nag published sa ADS?"

the same what happened sa victim (may she rest in peace and damn the killer/s should be hang), she willingly accept the textmates request nga magkita cla. so meaning naai mutual consent nga nagsabot sila nga magkita thru wanted pangga's program but "NOT" under wanted pangga's
    visibility.

i think the radio station allowed the program to be air regularly because they believe it has a good cause. otherwise the station should have issued warnings nga atong madungug just before the "wanted pangga" starts.

    my two cents for coffee.

sakto... ako chatter man jud ko.. so far buhi pko.. hehehe... pli-an man sad ko mag EB..^^, hahai..world..
