In the long run, you save a lot of money. My old PowerMac G4 Quicksilver is still alive since i bought 8 years ago.... now my new addition is the new MacPro 8 Core processor maybe this should last another 20 years...
Why am I not impressed, maybe because my older and cheaper rig performs faster than your mac or the best dual socket mac's around for that matter.
I see, its safe for everyone in istorya to assume that you married an arroyo's daughter to get the mac
Anyone who needs it can afford a dual socket Mac, it is cheaper to get a dualsockt Mac system than make your own dual socket out of a S771 + Tyan mobo, too bad the Macs only officially support low end consumer level videocards.. it either that or spend 10x more on a FireGL or Quadro.
Yeah, but you forgot to add limited upgradablity, overly expensive "mac certified" hardware as compared to its PC counterpart and basically always the 2nd best performer hardware wise
Or would take you 20years to buy one
Ive seen that photo used by several other people with a mac, seems like its pretty common hardware these days..
Anyway heres the cheap stuff i recently got... a Samsung 1TB Spinpoint F1
candid shot, no cleaning or what so ever..

now that everyone's vented out --- enough of the off-topic...MORE PICS.
Will soon upgrade to either a Thermalright or a Xigmatek Dark Knight

@kugtong777: asa na nimo gipalit bai? way too overpriced if pinas. I personally worked on a Mac Pro sa office for software development. Too heavy sad. Too much weight for average specs.
Btw, you don't have to marry an arroyo to buy that coz that rig is only a month or so salary for me. But i'd rather build 3 or 4 high-end gaming rigs with that price and start my own cafe.
Correction pud. Arroyo's don't own istore. Stanley Yap owns it.

enough with the OT.
Shut Up! Let your GAME do the talking!
If you can buy a Dell, you can buy a Mac. Nothing impressive about pre-built and pre-packaged hardware. I'm most impressed by the various pieces of hardware people manage to get together and eek out max performance. Also, I'd embarrass you with all my hardware, but yet I don't flaunt it because this is not a forum to do it in. I didn't have to marry Arroyo's daughter either.
