I agree but being a graduate of "University of My Own Home" is kind of hard to find a job. hehehe.
So sad for those who are really good but can't afford a reputable school.

...hard to find a job HERE in the Philippines...
The people who are "good" but have no graduation, should try to work as a freelancer from home for clients abroad...

Care to share how to get started as a freelancer? Do you mean online outsourcing like odesk, elance, getacoder.com ....?

    Good day!

IMO. Any school will do, just keep on asking relevant information during the session and savor the ideas you absorb and apply it everyday, either at home or at work. Go to any school and imagine that you have a mission not a goal.

There’s no way to learn programming overnight but there’s a way how to be pragmatic. To become a programmer, it’s always skill-centric rather than school-centric; school has nothing to do with the cognition you acquire. Surprisingly enough, I’ve seen many extraordinary programmers that greatly depend on their ability to learn.
