My answer is SIMPLE, not more than how much you should love yourself.
If you don't love yourself first, you are most likely not capable of loving the other properly. If you love the other too much to the point of losing your self respect & dignity, then that is not love. Worst, it is very dangerous & sometimes even deadly.

loving a person cannot -- in any way -- rob you of your identity. your individuality is yours alone. and if you love the person with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your body, with all your soul (sobra-an), it only sets you apart and gives you a stronger individuality for you alone can love that person as much as you do. and even if someone claims he/she loves that person the same way, there is still a difference in terms of the reasons for love he/she.../it.

there is no 'extent' there is no 'limit' as to 'loving' a person with all your heart..
however the word 'love' is overused and nobody can tell when it is really meant anyway...
how sad.
