Are you sure GOD has WANTS?

Well, if GOD has WANTS that would be totally insane for how can GOD has WANTS who has everything and lacks nothing and doesn't need anything to be happy for GOD is HAPPINESS and PERFECTION itself. Right? or wrong? which is which?

    i'm glad there's religion though.

    an addition to peaceful world.

but some abused the fact of being in religion.

    good luck!

thats not the point. if this god was a natural thing. you dont need faith.

...and if this "maker" shows/reveals himself/herself/itself to its subjects. does that make them a ROBOT? i think not.

...this god in his/her/it's infinite wisdom, a being in "superlativeness"....anthropomorphized...and now has WANTS and DEMANDS? i thought this god had everything?

there is such thing as no religion. we call it AGNOSTICISM. Daghan agnostic sa US. dri sa pinas. Gamay pa... isa na ko ad2... Agnostic since 1995.

Religionless is better for me aron wla labanay

If you watch the movie STIGMATA, there is a phrase there which states "Your Religion is within you. It is not with the Church".
that made me change my perception.

I was born from a family who is etremely religious. even Superstions mutuo sila kay nka agi sila(grand parents and parents) sa mga wakwak ERA.
I myself have an open 3rd eye. Ive learned to close it most of the time na... since i stop believing in a name...

I believe in a creater but not in any name. I find it wrong to name one since theyre are a lot of gods who speaks of
"There shall be no other gods than me".
I dont agree with it. Everyone is a pagan then? good grief

that's different, you cant equate your parents and god. thats disproportionate.
besides, i already mentioned my part on this issue(on the other thread perhaps).
i may have faith in my loved ones, fellow men, etc...but there are things we cant just take on face value.

for me, same reason applies when dealing with a suspicious message stating you've won a bajillion mooolahs....would you believe FIRST then ask for proofs later? or should you take it by faith then?

I dont have the exact statistics but so far most of our wars in the past were driven by religion. Im not saying that religion failed to accomplish its duty to humanity w/c is to love one another. Its the custodians, the priest/mulah/ministers who failed to impart the real message of religion. The religious leaders wre vry successful in twisting the minds of there devoted followers. Emphasizing more of the "messenger" instead of the message, too much god talk & less god work, more worship of god than being kind/forgiving to his fellowmen.
So i think its high time to set aside religion(as how religion is being taught nowadays) & simply practice the golden rule. the world might be a better place,

true. faith or no faith, nobody is exempted from the "golden rule". so put the childish dogmas in thy pockets. focus on empathy not sympathy.
