im not reli in favor of the fact that people use the online dating thing to easily hook up with another person... good for guys kay wala man mawala ninyo..pero sa mga girls.dako kaau nga damage...i mean wat if ma rape mi or something bad happens. oh wel...bahala namo what u do with your lives...

its not always like dat.. dats wy u meet sa mga safe place.. some started here n end up getting married.. just make sure dugay namo nagcommunicate to d point na modifferentiate na sya sa d rest na ka chat nm0 n he gives related info, asa sya nagwork, iya haus, somthing dat u can check by urself..

actually nag work man sad sa uban ang online dating in reality easy nalang maabot sa uban ang ila wish na makaminyo ug foreigner..I am currently working on dating site right now but i dont use it myself kay di man ko hilig ug alien..iba parin pag pinoy hahah

i guess the problem with online dating is the premise. you register, sometimes for a fee, to find love. it just doesn't feel natural. the romantic types would rather find love in the most unexpected, serendipitous, magical moment. in the flesh. online dating on the other hand feels amm phony. mura'g tinuyuan, di tinuod.

having said that, online dating serves a purpose. i believe it gives a glimmer of hope, perhaps the last hope, for the more desperate folks ... frankly and bluntly put, who are we to judge, as an example, a young poor, ugly (by pinoy standards) girl marrying a bald 55 year old kano? they have something to offer each other. i guess that could work as a basis for love.

as to the dangers, the "hi pangga" murder comes to mind ... well, meeting a stranger by any avenue always poses risks. it's a crazy world.
