i have a friend...they both love each other...but then her brothers don't want him to be with that guy, even his father!!!...because he's too old for her daw...actually they're 10 yrs gap...

is it a valid reason to stay away from the person that you love, because of that

do you mind telling me how old the girl is and how old the guy sad?? if the girl is still a teener.. and of course I would say that the guy is a matured adult na jud.. then of course, murag dili napud tingali na mao.. Ma Echegaray na nuon ang guy ani.. fact is if Minor pa ang girl, 15,16 or 17... then even if we think its ok because as as they all would say' FIGHT for your love' or 'LOVE conquers all', simply is a BS!!..

10 years gap is ok.. as long as both individuals concern are matured enough and consenting adults.. BUT if the girl is still a MINOR.. then murag lahi na pud na oi..

everybody here wants to say GO for it or FIGHT for it.. ever wonder why her brother's or parents don't like the guy too? there could be more than just age itself... after all, we're not in their shoes man sad.. it's easy to take sides here, BUT we should be cautious enough and examine the bigger picture lang jud. After all family is family.. bisag asa pa ug bali balihon pa ang kalibutan, sa iyang family lang gihapon na ang girl pauli.. ug ultimately iyang family lang gihapon ang maka experience unsa may sangpotanan ani jud..

Footnote lang and let me reiterate lang balik: Age gap is ok.. as long as both individuals are consenting matured adults... its ok if makabarog na silang duha to have a life of their own.. BUT.. if gani MINOR pa ang girl.. murag.. I would be on the side of the family lang sad.. It's not and definitely not OK jud...
