mas nahan ko sa mga candidates coz they're all pretty and i think smart... so far sa Q& A sa 5 finalists nice ilang mag tubag... gawas sa isa na ambot unsay nahitabo ato niya... hehe...

i like ms.cebu in all the pageants here in the phils.... proud to be a cebuana... hehe...

Kim is my schoolmate... I see her everyday. I was sitting by the table next to KIm and her friends one time (a week after the pageant) and observed her quietly. I also voted for her because she's really intelligent. Why say so? Because back in 2007, we had this student forum with some gov't officials as part of our Pol Sci activities wherein we could ask questions about the go'vt and etc.

I was still a nursing student that time and I was chosen to represent for my class, being the most witty and gutsy one in class. But when Kim stood up and said her piece, asking the most difficult questions and stating very sensitive facts about our gov't, we applauded because it was what we all wanted to ask but were either shy or afraid to do so. She delivered it very well, it was as if she was just having a friendly conversation with the officials, as if they're close friends.

So, going back to the issue, on that day at the canteen... She sat quietly wearing a long face and then she said "Ok ra oi. I'll live." And then said something like "...I hope the people would understand my side..." Then her friends said negative things about Kris Janson but she defended her saying that "...she deserved the crown based on some aspects but I also deserve a fair game..."

I didn't stay longer to eavesdrop (coz that's what actually happened since they were talking loud enough for the people around them to hear what they were saying )

It was wrong for me to listen to their conversation. But it was also wrong for people to judge Kim the way they've read infos about her in the tabloids.

She's reserved, down to earth and very friendly. Though we're not friends, Miss Cebu 09 Finalist or not, I have always appreciated her not just for her beauty but also for the intelligence she bears.

By the way, our school bulletin board was updated last Monday and it stated this:

You can search it, or ask around or even ask the CESAFI Officials about this fact. So that you'd know that I am not faking my infos. This is just to prove that she's not just beauteous. She also has what it takes to be academically competent.
