Help: Cannot post in Photography Section

be careful what you wish for....

Do you honestly want to lose that section? Yes, daghan ug apan ang mga threads maski asa na section but the reason people visit the site is because of the new content and the sharing of information (in this case photographs of subjects & events). A whole section got locked because of a single thread (at least its what sparked it), anyway for whatever your reasons Im sure justified na. Whatever you decide huwat lang mi, people will move on, and I wont lose sleep over it.

why you need to locked up wherein you(the mods) have the power to give infractions/ban only to the violators...its not everybody will suffer..yet,you can even delete the unwanted replies sa thread if u think dili related sa photography...

u know guys,we always visited this thread daily,so its a part of our routine na pud..pero no knowing,too selfish rapud mo sa inyo part...one sided ra kaau inyo decision.kamo ra ga ingon na this is forum,so dapat everytime mi mo post, andam nami sa mga critiques/comments...wonder lang ko why mga hot-headed ang mga mods dinhi sa photography thread,whereas sa general discussion,bisan bastos na kaau ang mga topic, gipadayon,gi-tolerate gihapon...maybe i smell some envy here sa mga noob.

ni express rako sa ako opinion...coz i see no justice here..it's like power tripping ang inyo gibuhat

anyway..such a blessing in disguise pud cguro ni nahitabo..coz a new site was open for us mga cebu photo enthusiats(thanks sa mga peeps behind this action)..sayang, naanad na unta mi diri sa istorya.net.....pero life must go on,we have to enjoy the new site..

A warning was issued and that warning stated what the consequence will be. We do what we say and we do what we think is the right course of action. Others might be able to get away with something... however, the rules will eventually catch up to them.

Envy? Why would we envy anyone? Perhaps some people needed some good photos so they can have something to brag about... we don't look at it that way, we shoot when we can and enjoy it... not to brag about it... we do admire talent but that doesn't mean we envy the person.

It will be opened after we have reviewed guidelines concerning the section.

we are not idiots or mga illiterate na dili mi makahibaw sa guidelines,,pero why man tanan photography section man gyud e lock? for what reason? para ma educate ninyo ang uban members diri??and why man inyo gpadayon ang general discussion section na pirting daghanang mga nonsense topics didto?unfair man gud paminawn.... if yes,then why man dili mo maka hatag ug warning through individuals,send him PM or infractions..and if cge ghapon buhat,e block ninyo iyang account...simple...naa gud mu power mubuhat ana...

General Discussions are what it is... general... that's the reason why it is there. As for people who have so far escaped the rules, as stated the rules will eventually catch up to them.

We don't really have to explain why we do what we do but to give you a general idea, the circumstances that you see is different from what we see. There are things that are put into consideration into each and every situation that we encounter.

Moving forward, all points are taken into consideration. Once guidelines have been reviewed, it will be re-opened.

general discussions was meant for such topics. mods and admins are a lot more linient on that part of the board.

i issued a warning with the corresponding consequence. no one listened, no one acted and instead continued to let members argue. i implemented the consequence. it's that simple. it may be unfair but people have to learn.

as for being envious of noobs? why should i even be envious of noobs?

if i may sir... those members fighting kay mga tiguwang na, naa na sila boot they know what they are doing... some pipol acted sir by posting pictures and commented on those instead of their issues para mawala lang ang ilang away but we can't just stop them from typing those messages... someone even pleaded nga ayaw lang e lock ang whole board kay mao na, mao ni, yada, yada...

this issue won't be big if you just banned those pipol and move on... lipay ang uban photographers nga walay labot sa ilang away...

anyways... nahitabo na man ni, wa na ta mahims... you are the ones with power... so let it be nalang...

so imo diay bo-ut pasabot sir, a mistake of one, a consequence to all diay..now i know...sorry if na feel nako unfair sa uban members wherein mao ra tawn among kalipay,apil2x sa photography sec...why not sending him warning PM or infractions lang unta diay?been a member of other forum sites pero they give one infraction everytime masayop ang member,so mas dili complicated man gud if in-ana and walay uban members madamay...pero this is your rules man pud,so ihave to abide those rules...suggestion ra na ako sir para fair..karon ra man gud ko kasuway na forums na madamay ang tanan members if masayop ang usa...martial law style man.,mga democratic man unta tah.

about envy? maybe sa ako ra ng na-observahan sir,,im just too observant from the start..so naka sum-up lang ko ana..sorry if nakasulti ko ana,pero sa ma-igo lang ato,wa man ko nagmention pud if kinsa..so if dili mo in-ana sir,leave it there..

@szichri & inkinian: Katogi nlng sa na bro, pwede rman unta i-isolate ang violators or i lock ang thread as penalty pero "justified" man kuno nga whole section gyud ang ilock. Bahala overkill basta makalearn ta tanan sa "lesson".

anyways i have promised myself na i won't post my photos in the photography section ever again (i know it won't matter, who am i anyway? i'm not a pro and im not that good mansad) i'll just be a lurker nalang if ever it will be open again...
